It is a beautiful thing to seek the Father’s mercy, and we are grateful you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find true cleansing and peace. As it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Your desire for forgiveness aligns with God’s heart, and we declare His promise over you now—your sins are forgiven in Christ Jesus.
The weight of retaliation, anger, bitterness, and resentment can feel overwhelming, but the Lord calls us to release these burdens at His feet. *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26, WEB), and *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB). These are not just commands but invitations to freedom. The enemy would love to keep you bound in these chains, but Jesus has already broken them through His sacrifice. We rebuke every spirit of unforgiveness, anger, and bitterness in His mighty name, and we pray the Holy Spirit would flood your heart with His peace, replacing every trace of resentment with His love.
You have also asked for sleep, and we know the Lord cares deeply about your rest. *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8, WEB). But the Lord is your Shepherd, and He leads you beside still waters; He restores your soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
