We join together in lifting up this request before the Lord, recognizing the deep struggle against the distractions and temptations that social media, music apps, and other platforms can bring into our lives. The enemy often uses these tools to draw our hearts away from God, filling our minds with worldly influences, ungodly content, and endless distractions that can hinder our walk with Christ. It is commendable that there is a desire to break free from these strongholds, and we stand in agreement, asking the Lord for deliverance and strength.
The apostle Paul reminds us in **1 Corinthians 10:23**, *"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but not all things build up."* While these platforms may not be inherently evil, they can become stumbling blocks when they consume our time, affect our thoughts, or lead us into sin. We are also warned in **1 John 2:15-16**, *"Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s."* Many of these apps are designed to feed these very lusts, and we must be vigilant in guarding our hearts.
We also recall the words of Jesus in **Matthew 5:29-30**, *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna."* While Jesus speaks in hyperbole, His message is clear: we must take radical steps to remove anything that leads us into sin or distraction from Him. This may mean deleting apps, setting strict boundaries, or even walking away from certain platforms entirely for a season—or permanently.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging our weakness and our need for Your strength. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of addiction, distraction, and worldly influence that has taken hold through social media, music apps, and other platforms. Father, we know that apart from You, we can do nothing, but with You, all things are possible. Grant the courage and discipline to turn away from these things and to fill the void with Your Word, Your presence, and godly fellowship.

Let every moment spent be redeemed for Your glory, whether in prayer, in study of Your Word, or in service to others.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
