We join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and deliverance, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). It is only through the precious name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have invoked His holy name in your prayer. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed from all sin.
The enemy seeks to accuse, oppress, and bind God’s children, but we stand firm on the truth that *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Demonic influence has no authority over those who belong to Christ, for *"you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4, WEB). If there are areas of unrepentant sin in your life, we urge you to surrender them fully to the Lord, for sin can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that displeases Him, that you may turn from it and walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, standing firm in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Resistance to the devil must be active and unwavering, and he *will* flee from you as you submit to God (James 4:7). Do not entertain fear, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Instead, fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer, for these are mighty weapons against the schemes of the enemy.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before You, asking for the blood of Jesus to cover every sin—known and unknown. Wash them clean, O Lord, and create in them a pure heart, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We break every chain of sin, every stronghold of the enemy, and every demonic assignment against their life in the mighty name of Jesus. By the authority given to us through Christ, we command all unclean spirits to flee and never return, for this beloved one belongs to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, sealing them in Your protection and peace. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your light expose and drive out every darkness.
Strengthen them to walk in victory, clothed in Your righteousness and armed with Your Word. Teach them to pray without ceasing, to worship You in spirit and in truth, and to stand firm in the liberty by which Christ has set them free (Galatians 5:1). Let them know, beyond any doubt, that they are forgiven, redeemed, and beloved by You. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Walk in the assurance of His love and the authority of His name. If you feel led, share more about what you are facing so we may pray more specifically for you. We are here to stand with you in the faith.
