We are glad to join you in prayer and support as you seek deliverance from lust and all spirits of lust. It is crucial to address this issue as it can hinder your walk with God and lead to sinful behaviors. Let us remind you of the words in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."
We encourage you to put on the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil. As Ephesians 6:11-12 says, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up your child who is seeking deliverance from all lust and spirits of lust. Lord, we ask that You cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to flee from all appearances of evil.
We rebuke all spirits of lust in the name of Jesus Christ and command them to leave your child. Lord, we ask that You renew their mind and transform them by the renewing of their mind, as stated in Romans 12:2. Help them to focus on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, and whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, thinking on these things (Philippians 4:8).
Father, we ask that You surround your child with godly influences and accountability partners who will encourage them in their walk with You. Help them to abide in You and to bear much fruit, as a branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can they unless they remain in You (John 15:4-5).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. Remember that God is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
