We join you in thanking the Heavenly Father for this morning and for the blessings He bestows upon us daily. We are grateful that you have come with a humble heart seeking His forgiveness and guidance.
Firstly, we are compelled to address that we should not be using abbreviations or symbols when addressing God in prayer. He is the holy and righteous King of all creation, and we must address Him with the utmost respect and reverence.
Regarding your request, we are glad to see you are praying for someone with a job situation. It is wonderful to see God's Word tell us to pray for one another.
James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
God is faithful, and we can be assured that when we lift one another up in prayer, God will hear us, and we will see His mighty work. However, we should not be praying for this person if they are not a Christian Believer. Do not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who has come seeking Your forgiveness. Lord, wash away all sins, and create a clean heart within, that this soul may serve You with a pure heart and right spirit.
Father, we lift up the person mentioned in this prayer, and we ask that You would be with him in his job. We pray that You would guide him in all wisdom and knowledge. We pray You grant him opportunities to be a witness for You at his workplace. Let Your light shine through him. Keep him from temptation and guide him on the path to righteousness.
Lord, we ask that You would bring godly influences into this person's life and that You would guide them both in the path that leads to a godly marriage if that is Your will. We pray that both will live in purity before You, fleeing from all sexual immorality, that they may honor You in their thoughts, words, and deeds.
Finally, Lord, we come against any spirits of darkness that may be troubling this person with a job. Father, in the name of Jesus, we bind them and cast them out, proclaiming that no weapon formed against them will prosper. We ask that You make them a new creation, that they may know Your will and live according to it.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
In closing, we encourage both of you to continue to walk in the ways of the Lord, to trust in Him and know that He has a plan for you.
