We appreciate your earnest prayer seeking forgiveness. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God, Ephesians 2:18. Through faith in Jesus, we are forgiven and redeemed, Ephesians 1:7. This is the basic salvation message that believing in Jesus Christ is the only way by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12. Remember His words:
"Therefore, behold, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar. Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.
"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not! Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We come before You, seeking forgiveness for our sins and acknowledging that it is only through Jesus Christ that we are saved and redeemed. Thank You for Your promise of forgiveness and for the love You have shown us through Jesus. Help us to walk in Your ways and to live lives that honor and glorify You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to walk in faith, knowing that God's love for you is unfailing and that His forgiveness is complete. Turn away from that sin that would hinder your relationship with God. If there is any area of your life that does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to seek God's will and to turn from it.
