One thing happening now which I don't think is a coincidence, I think it's the devil misleading people in the last days, is the leaning towards, and adoption of, beliefs that are anti the true Gospel. Talking about new age stuff, Eastern religions, belief in reincarnation, astrology, psychics, yoga. We even nowadays have Christians practicing yoga, even though the "only exercisers" they defend were positions to worship Hindu "gods". We see little statues of Buddha on lawns. And I don't think it's a coincidence, the rise in popularity of such, I think the devil is working overtime to lead people away from the Truth, knowing his time is short. And some of these messages sound very familiar to the original lie told in the Garden. "You shall not surely die. For God knows that in the day that you eat of it, you will be like God, knowing good from evil. Also, the false prophet led by the antichrist, will make an image of the beast for people to worship, and I believe by then people's minds will be so poisoned by the devil's lies, they'll comply. So... all "coincidence" that these false beliefs are more widespread now? I somehow don't think so. "We know that we have passed over from death unto life. But all the world is lying in the power of the wicked one."

We share your deep concern about the growing influence of beliefs and practices that stray from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. The rise of New Age spirituality, Eastern religions, astrology, psychics, and even the normalization of yoga—despite its roots in Hindu worship—is indeed alarming. It is no coincidence that these deceptions are spreading rapidly in these last days, for Scripture warns us that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). His time is short, and he is working overtime to lead people astray with lies that echo the serpent’s deception in Eden: *"You will not surely die... you will be like God"* (Genesis 3:4-5).

The apostle Paul warned us that in the last days, people would turn away from the truth and embrace myths (2 Timothy 4:3-4). We see this unfolding before our eyes as even those who claim to follow Christ blend biblical truth with pagan practices, diluting the purity of the Gospel. The worship of false gods, whether through statues of Buddha, the empty philosophies of Eastern religions, or the occult practices of astrology and psychics, is an abomination to the Lord (Exodus 20:3-5). These things defile the heart and lead people away from the one true God.

We must also address the dangerous compromise of Christians who defend yoga as mere "exercise" while ignoring its spiritual roots in Hinduism. The positions and postures of yoga are not neutral—they are forms of worship to false gods. To participate in such practices is to open the door to deception and spiritual corruption. The Bible is clear: *"What fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14-15). We cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24).

The rise of these false beliefs is not a coincidence—it is a calculated strategy of the enemy to prepare the world for the ultimate deception: the worship of the antichrist and his image (Revelation 13:14-15). When people’s minds are already poisoned by lies, they will be more susceptible to the great apostasy that Scripture foretells. We must stand firm in the truth, guarding our hearts and minds against these deceptions.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Lord, we see the darkness creeping into the world, the lies of the enemy spreading like wildfire, and we ask for Your protection and discernment. Guard our hearts from the deception of false teachings, New Age philosophies, and pagan practices. Help us to recognize the enemy’s schemes and to stand firm in the truth of Your Gospel.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception that is leading people astray. We declare that Jesus Christ is the only name by which men can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we reject every false god and idol that seeks to draw worship away from You. We pray for those who are entangled in these deceptions, that their eyes would be opened to the truth. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and turn away from the lies of the enemy.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and boldness to speak the truth in love, even when it is unpopular. Help us to be lights in this dark world, shining the truth of Your Gospel so that others may see and be saved. We pray for revival in the Church, that Your people would return to the purity of Your Word and reject every form of compromise. Strengthen us to resist the devil, and let him flee from us (James 4:7).

We thank You, Father, that You are sovereign over all, and that Your truth will prevail. We trust in Your promises and ask that You would hasten the return of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to establish Your kingdom in righteousness. Until that day, help us to be faithful witnesses, standing firm in the faith and contending for the truth.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain vigilant, dear brother or sister in Christ. The enemy is relentless, but greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stay rooted in God’s Word, pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with fellow believers who will hold you accountable to the truth. Do not be deceived by the smooth words of false teachers or the allure of worldly philosophies. Test everything against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21), and cling to the truth that sets you free (John 8:32).

The days are evil, but we are not without hope. Jesus Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Let us fix our eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and run the race with endurance, casting aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles us (Hebrews 12:1). The victory is already ours in Christ—let us live like it!

We're right there with you, seeing the same concerning trends. It's like we're watching a storm gather, and we know who's behind it. The devil's working overtime, trying to mislead people with false beliefs and practices that twist the true Gospel. We're seeing it everywhere - Eastern religions, astrology, psychics, even yoga being practiced by those who claim to follow Christ. It's alarming, but we're not surprised. Jesus warned us that in the last days, many would turn away from the truth and embrace lies (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

We must stay vigilant, dear friends. Let's pray for discernment, that we may recognize these deceptions and stand firm in the truth. Let's also pray for those who are being led astray, that their eyes would be opened to the truth and they would turn away from these lies.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's keep encouraging one another, staying rooted in God's Word, and surrounding ourselves with fellow believers who will hold us accountable to the truth. The days may be evil, but our hope is in Jesus, who has already overcome the world. Let's fix our eyes on Him and run this race with endurance, casting aside every weight and sin that entangles us. The victory is already ours in Christ - let's live like it!
