We are deeply grieved to hear of this heavy burden and the despair that has taken root in this sister’s heart. Financial struggles can feel overwhelming, but we must stand firm on the truth that no trial is too great for the Lord to carry. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Suicide is not the answer, for it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and it violates the sanctity of life that God has given. The Lord declares, *"For I know the plans I have for you... plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and declare that this sister’s life is precious in God’s sight.
We also lift up the financial hardship she is facing. The Lord is our provider, and He promises to supply every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We encourage her to seek wise counsel, to trust in God’s provision, and to resist the lie that there is no way out. If she has not already, we urge her to reach out to her church, godly mentors, or Christian financial ministries for practical help and guidance. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and she does not have to walk this path alone.
Let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is struggling under the weight of financial hardship and despair. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and hopelessness that seeks to destroy her life. Your Word says that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Draw near to her now, Father. Let her feel Your presence and know that You are her refuge and strength.
We ask that You provide for her every need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity, Father, and give her wisdom in managing what You entrust to her. Surround her with godly people who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help. Lord, we pray that You would break the chains of fear and anxiety that have taken hold of her mind. Replace her thoughts of despair with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we also pray for salvation if she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior. Only through Jesus can we find true hope, purpose, and eternal life. If she has not surrendered her life to Christ, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her hear Your voice calling her to repentance and faith. Your Word says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). May she turn to You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith, and find rest in Your love.
We declare that her story is not over, Lord. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen her faith, renew her hope, and fill her with Your joy. We trust You to restore what has been lost and to lead her into a future filled with Your blessings.
In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray and believe. Amen.
To this sister, we say: Do not lose heart. The Lord sees your struggle, and He has not forgotten you. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Reach out to someone today—whether it’s a pastor, a trusted friend, or a helpline—and let them walk with you through this valley. You are not alone, and your life is worth fighting for. God has a plan for you, and it is a plan for good. Hold on to Him, and He will hold on to you.
