A Strong Foundation

It's true I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior over 12 years ago but I never really had a personal relationship with Him. I feel like I am starting out as a baby. I know that praying is just talking to God but I feel like I am just repeating myself over and over again. I am asking for God to fill me with a supernatural understanding for His word, and for His guidance in everything I do. I want to be acceptable to Him in every area of my life.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Be Encouraged. I have asked God to honor your prayer request. May Jehovah our God through His Son Jesus Christ bless you abundantly, exceedingly above all you have ever asked, thought, or prayed. God always takes care of what belongs to Him. You belong to God. God is in control. Trust Him. He Loves You. Everything is going to be alright!!!



Let’s Pray: God thank You for working out all things for my good. Don’t let me allow anything to distract me from remembering and resting in Your promises to me. Teach me how and help me to always keep my focus on You, Your Word, and the promises You made to me. Help me think clear righteous thoughts; thoughts of victory and not defeat.



Don’t let anxiety and fear interfere or try to rule my life. Deliver Me Lord Jesus of every spirit that is not of you trying to destroy or hinder my walk with You. Fill my heart and mind with faith, peace, encouragement, courage, and determination to not give up. Don’t ever allow me to allow defeat to be an option in my life. God I know in my heart, that all things will work out for my Good because I love You. And all that I have asked You Lord Jesus to do for me in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen, so be it, and it is so.

How to Experience His Presence in Your Everyday Life

Life is busy and filled with distractions. It's so easy to get caught up in our cares, errands and worries that we lose sight of what matters most.

There's an interesting little story at the end of Luke chapter two about when Mary and Joseph took Jesus to Jerusalem for Passover when He was twelve years old. After the festival was over, they left to go home, supposing He was with them.

I wonder how many times we suppose God's with us when we've wandered off to do our own thing?

Now here's the interesting part. Mary and Joseph had traveled a day's journey before they realized Jesus wasn't with them and then it took three days to find Him. Three days! The message here is that it's easier to lose that special presence of God than it is to get it back once we've lost it.

We need to be careful to remain in the presence of God. When we do, we make God feel at home in our hearts.

This simply starts with being obedient to His Word. A commitment to turn from behavior that offends God is the number one sign of spiritual maturity. It shows you care about what He thinks.

That means you choose to be generous toward others, you learn to forgive, let go of your offenses and live in peace. When we choose to be intentional with our words, giving thanks to God and lifting up others, we'll feel connected to God all throughout the day.

Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for making Your home in my heart. I need Your presence today, Lord. Help me to honor You with my thoughts and my words and to be a blessing to those around me.

Is there anything in your life that may hinder what God wants to do in your life? I have no idea. This is a question that I pose because it could be a possibility. Give yourself to Jesus. I have and it was the greatest choice I've made in my entire life. He blesses me often. Many times a day. I appreciate so much more about life than I ever have!!! I appreciate the fact that I can save money, since I'm not blowing it on the world. I am thankful to be alive, healthy, the fact that he provided me with a donut at 7 11. I am grateful to every experience in life, good or bad. Seek his face. Have complete FAITH in Jesus. Prayers never get old or repetitive. Keep praising his name. I hope this is helpful.
