Jesus, I saw a stranger on the train, Jesus. I pray she is protected from any future harm, Jesus. I pray she is saved and escapes the fear I saw in her eyes, Jesus. In Jesus name amen

We lift up this stranger you encountered on the train, moved by the compassion the Lord placed in your heart. It is a holy thing to intercede for someone whose name you do not even know, for the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). We join you in praying that this precious soul is shielded from every form of harm, physical, emotional, and spiritual, and that the fear you saw in her eyes would be replaced by the perfect love of Christ, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, that no weapon formed against her would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If she does not yet know You, we pray that the seeds of the Gospel would take root in her heart, that she would come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, the only Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let her encounter believers who will speak truth in love, and may she experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom and boldness for ourselves and all believers to be instruments of Your grace in the lives of strangers. May we never miss an opportunity to show kindness, share the hope of Christ, or pray for those in need, for we are Your hands and feet in this world (1 Corinthians 12:27).

Lord, if there is any darkness or bondage in her life, whether it be sin, oppression, or ungodly influences, we rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a plan for her life, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May she walk in the freedom and joy of Your salvation, and may the fear she carried be swallowed up in victory (1 Corinthians 15:54-57).

We thank You, Jesus, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in her life, and may she come to know You as her Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. In Your precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

We were moved by how you noticed her on the train and turned what you saw into prayer instead of just passing by. Seeing fear in a stranger's eyes can stay with you, and bringing her to Jesus as you did is a caring, faithful response.

We don't know her story or what was behind that fear, and you may never see her again to know how she is doing. It can help to remember that God saw her fully in the same moment you did, and He knows her name and her needs even when we do not. Your prayer places her in His hands rather than leaving the burden only on your heart.

When her face comes back to mind in the days ahead, you can simply lift her up again in a brief quiet prayer as you first did. You don't need special words. Entrusting her to Him each time you think of her is enough.

We join you in praying for her safety and for peace to replace what troubled her, and that she would come to know the hope we have in Christ.

Father, we lift this woman to You, You know who she is and where she is tonight. We ask You to keep her safe from harm, to calm her fear and bring her peace, and to draw her to Yourself and show her Your love. Thank You for giving this friend a compassionate heart to intercede for a stranger. Give them peace as they trust her to Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for this stranger is a tender and Christlike work, and it is good that the Lord has laid her burden upon your heart. He who sees the sparrow fall saw also the fear in her eyes upon that train, and He who hears the faintest cry of faith will hear your intercession for her.

We join you in praying that the Lord will be gracious unto her and keep her from all future harm. May He who commands deliverance say over her, Deliver her from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. There is indeed a ransom found, not of silver and gold, but of the precious blood of Christ, and through that ransom alone is there deliverance from sin and from the fear that settles like a dark cloud upon the soul.

You have well asked that she may be saved and may escape that fear. Remember that perfect love casteth out fear, yet there is also a holy fear which moves the soul toward Christ. May the fear you saw become in her that moving fear which drives her to the ark of safety, even to Jesus Himself. For deliverance from the power of darkness and from the guilt of sin is altogether the work of God, and He alone can bring her from bondage into liberty.

So let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this stranger whom Thou hast set before the eyes of Thy servant. Thou knowest her name and her sorrows though she is unknown to us. Keep her body from harm and her soul from perishing. Graciously draw her to Thyself, that by faith in Jesus Christ alone she may be saved, her sins forgiven through His ransom, and her heart delivered from the power of darkness into Thy marvellous light. Give her that peace which casteth out tormenting fear, and make her to live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour. Amen.

Your prayer for the woman you saw on the train is precious and God hears the compassion in it. To notice a stranger, to carry her fear in your heart before the Lord, is itself a work of love that pleases Him.

We join you in praying for her now. We ask our heavenly Father to place His hand of protection over her and to keep her from harm in the days ahead. We pray that He who is everywhere present and sees all that is in the heart would draw near to her in her fear, calm her soul, and let her know she is not forgotten. Above all we pray for her salvation, that she would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for it is through Him alone that we have hope and peace with God. May He work in her both to will and to do what pleases Him, and may He replace fear with trembling joy and trust in His mercy.

Scripture reminds us that we ourselves are strangers and sojourners on this earth, looking to a heavenly home, and that God calls us to care for strangers with practical love. Your prayer is part of that care. Continue to bring her before the Lord as you have done, trusting that He who sowed this compassion in you will also watch over her. Your prayer for this woman on the train is precious and God sees both your compassion and her need. He notices the stranger that others might overlook, and He hears when one of His people intercedes for another.

It is right to pray for her protection. Scripture presents God as our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and as the One under whose wings we can find trust and covering. His truth is a shield and defense against the attacks of the enemy, and Jesus Himself used the truth of God's Word to stand against evil. The Bible also teaches that angels are spirit beings who dwell in the presence of God and are sent as ministering spirits for those who will inherit salvation. You can ask the Lord to surround her with His presence, to guard her from future harm, and to keep her in trouble until deliverance comes. The promise is for those who walk in fellowship with Him that He will be with them in trouble, deliver them, and show them His salvation.

It is also right to pray for her salvation, and that is the greatest need. The name Jesus means the Lord is salvation, for He saves His people from their sins, and He alone is the way of salvation. Salvation is not something we can earn or buy, it is the gift of God's grace that has appeared to all, received by believing in what Christ has done. The Scripture urges that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, and we should not put off responding to God's offer because our eternal destiny rests on it. Pray that God will work in her heart to give her both the desire and the ability to turn to Him, that she will hear the good news of Jesus and believe, and that she will confess Him as Lord.

You mentioned the fear you saw in her eyes. Fear in that sense can take hold of a person and become debilitating and destructive. It is a tool the enemy often uses to immobilize us, and we can rightly pray, preserve my life from the fear of the enemy. There is another fear spoken of in Scripture that is entirely different. The fear of the Lord is not a phobia, but a reverent awe at who God is, His greatness and power. That fear is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge, the sum and starting place of true understanding. To fear the Lord is to love what He loves and to hate evil and depart from it. When a person comes to know the Lord in that way, the other fear loses its grip. As Scripture says, the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear, the Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid. The one who trusts in Him can say, I will fear no evil for You are with me, and can rest in the promise that in the time of trouble He will hide His own in His shelter. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts trust in the Lord shall be safe. Pray that she will exchange the fear that torments for the reverent trust that brings life and peace, that she will know God as her rock, her refuge and her salvation, and find that He is her defense so she need not be moved.

Continue to bring her before the Lord. He is the One who sees her, who can protect her body and soul, who offers salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and who can replace tormenting fear with the comfort of His presence.
