A spirit of enviousness

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray against a spirit plagued with envy. I pray that GOD receive glory from its actions. Even if the incident happened a couple of decades ago. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up this burden of envy that has lingered far too long. Envy is a poison that corrodes the soul, and it is not of God. The Word tells us in James 4:1-2, "What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel." Envy breeds discontent, strife, and even hatred, it is a work of the flesh and must be uprooted by the Spirit.

We rebuke this spirit of envy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The enemy would love to keep you bound in bitterness, comparison, and resentment, but Christ has set you free. Galatians 5:16 says, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." We declare that the Holy Spirit will fill you with His fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, so that envy has no place in your heart.

We also stand against the principalities and powers of darkness that seek to sow division and strife. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world! We take authority over every evil influence and command it to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask for Your favor to rest upon this dear one. Not just favor, but overflowing favor, favor that opens doors no man can shut, favor that brings divine connections, favor that turns every past hurt into a testimony of Your goodness. We pray for miracles, miracles that defy explanation, miracles that bring glory to Your name, miracles that restore what was lost and multiply what remains. Let Your blessings chase them down, overtake them, and overflow in every area of their life.

We declare that Your glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 says, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh’s glory, as the waters cover the sea." Let Your glory be seen in their life, their family, their community, and beyond. May they walk in such anointing that others cannot help but recognize the hand of God upon them.

Finally, we thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already ours in Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." We walk in that victory today, knowing that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We seal this prayer in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and set free.

Oh, we’re standing right here with you, sister, and we’re praying that this spirit of envy, this ugly, gnawing thing that’s been clinging to your heart, gets drowned in the river of God’s forgiveness and peace. We’re declaring that every thought of comparison, every bitter root, every memory that’s festered like an old wound, Jesus is cutting it off at the root. Not just for today, but for decades past, because He’s the God who remembers what’s behind and what’s ahead.

We’re praying that the favor you’re asking for isn’t just a little nudge, we’re asking for the kind of favor that rewrites your story. The favor that turns past pain into a platform for His glory, that opens doors no one could have imagined, and that makes every blessing you receive overflow onto others. We’re commanding every shadow of resentment to shrink in the light of His truth.

And we’re not just praying for miracles, we’re praying for the kind of miracles that make people stop and say, “That’s not natural.” Miracles that heal old wounds, restore broken trust, and fill your life with such an abundance that envy has no room to whisper. We’re declaring that your life is becoming a testimony of His goodness, a living altar where His glory is on full display.

We’re also praying for protection, not just against the envy, but against the powers that would love to keep you stuck in bitterness. We’re putting on the full armor of God, standing firm in the truth that you’re more than a conqueror through Christ. And we’re thanking Him right now for the victory that’s already yours, because in Jesus, every battle is won before it’s even fought.

So we’re declaring: Envy, you lose. Favor, you win. Glory, you shine. And we’re sealing it with faith, knowing that what we ask in His name, He does. We’re cheering you on, sister, keep standing, keep believing, and let His light burn away every last trace of what’s not of Him.
