Prayer Warrior
A slightly better day apart from being disturbed first thing, but I needed to get up early. It's so far peaceful here this evening but no garuntee that'll last, and no water has come in from the storm, which is reassuring although the next one is due. I have clarification on support into self employment, got that at the end of the working day today and we now have a public holiday weekend, a three day weekend. All good, I should be able to proceed Tuesday or Wednesday next week but will not be earning a full wage for some time, business takes time to build and I'm doing this with no money in reserve, however, in the poverty I live in, everything helps and being in control of my work will really help me manage my disabilities. I am worried about the fees for my part time studies, please pray for that. No move on accommodation yet, pray and be patient. I feel a little better but it's been so dark, I'm still very worried about a person and a situation and what has happened and my reaction. Please keep praying with me in Jesus' Name, amen.

We thank God with you for this slightly better day and for the peace you have this evening, and we join you in giving thanks that no water has come in from the storm. We know the next storm is due and we will keep praying for protection over your home, for your peace is not guaranteed by circumstances but by the One who is our refuge. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1, and we cling to that promise for you tonight and in the days ahead.

We rejoice with you for the clarification on support into self employment and for the gift of this three day public holiday weekend to rest. We understand the weight of stepping out with no money in reserve and knowing that a business takes time to build, especially while living in poverty and managing disabilities. We pray for wisdom and diligence as you take this step, and we commit your work to the Lord with you, for Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3. We ask God to grant you favor, steady small provision along the way, and strength to manage your work in a way that honors your health. Remember that even as you labour, God promises My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness, 2 Corinthians 12:9, and we pray His strength will be made perfect in your weakness each day.

We bring your worry about fees for your part time studies before the Father with you. We know this burden feels heavy when resources are so thin. We are reminded and we remind you that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. We pray the Lord will open a clear way for those fees, whether through provision, assistance, or a manageable path forward, and that He will give you peace as you trust Him with what you cannot control.

We also continue to pray with you for accommodation. That there is no move yet is difficult when you are waiting so patiently in such challenging conditions. We encourage you to wait with hope, for Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh, Psalm 27:14. We ask God to provide the right place at the right time, a safe and dry home where you can rest and work and study without fear of the storms.

We hear that you feel a little better but that it has been so dark, and that you remain very worried about a person and a situation and what has happened and your reaction. We lift that person and that whole situation to the Lord with you. We do not know the details but God does, and He invites you to cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. We pray God will search your heart, bring conviction where needed and comfort where you have been wounded, and lead you in reconciliation and forgiveness as He would have you walk. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that peace over you now, to guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Father, we come together before You in Jesus Name and we thank You for hearing our brother in Christ. We thank You for a peaceful evening, for protection from the storm water, and for guidance into this new work. We ask You to be his provider when there is no reserve, his shelter in the next storm, his wisdom in building this business, and his strength in his disabilities. We ask You to make a way for his study fees and to open the door to suitable accommodation in Your perfect timing. We bring to You the darkness he has felt and the heavy worry for this person and situation, ask for Your mercy, Your forgiveness, Your healing, and Your direction for his reaction and next steps. Lead him in Your will and let Your peace rule in his heart. We trust You to carry him through this three day weekend and into Tuesday and Wednesday with renewed hope. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone gives us access to the Father, amen.

Thank you for the update. We are glad to hear today was a little better and this evening has been peaceful, and we understand that worry about the next storm and whether water will come in makes it hard to rest even when things are calm.

It sounds like getting clear support for the move into self employment was a real step forward. We hear how much it matters to you to have work you can shape around your disabilities, and also how heavy it feels to start with no reserve and to know it will be a while before you earn a full wage. That mix of hope and pressure makes sense, especially while you are living in such tight circumstances.

We are praying with you about the part time study fees and the wait for accommodation. Those are big, practical needs and the waiting is hard. We also hear that the darkness has not fully lifted and you are still carrying worry about a person and a situation and about your own reaction to what happened.

With offices closed for the long weekend, it may help to use the time to rest where you can and jot down the two or three small steps you want to take when things reopen Tuesday or Wednesday, so you don't have to hold it all in your mind. If you have a student support or finance contact, reaching out early next week about fee options could give you a clearer picture.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Give steady peace tonight, guard this home through the next storm, provide wisdom for the work ahead and for study costs, and bring comfort and clarity in the worry that still weighs on the heart. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We have received your update with thankfulness and have brought it before the Lord with you. It is a mercy to hear of a more peaceful evening and that the storm has not brought water in, and we join you in giving thanks for that keeping. We understand the uncertainty that remains with the next storm due and with the disturbance that broke your early morning, and we pray the Lord will continue to be your shelter.

You speak of that perfect peace which the prophet describes, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. That peace is not the mere stilling of outward trouble but peace within through the blood of Jesus, a present possession to be enjoyed even when duties press and sorrows surge round. We pray you may know that peace more fully, not as a stagnation of thought or a blindness to danger, but as that peace of God which passes all understanding, flowing like a river from the throne of God and kept by His own hand.

We hear your burden concerning work and provision. To step into self employment with no reserve, while living in poverty and managing disabilities, is a heavy weight, and we pray for wisdom and steadiness in these next steps on Tuesday and Wednesday and in the slow building of the business. The Lord who is the God of all peace is also your provider, and as you wait upon Him for direction as a traveller waits upon his guide, we pray He will order your steps and give you strength for each day. We remember before Him your part time studies and the worry over fees. May He make a way where you see no way and help you to rest in His faithful care rather than in anxious thought, for anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty, while waiting upon the Lord breeds peace within the soul and strengthens courage.

Concerning accommodation, we join you in praying and being patient. There is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and a waiting people who wait in hope, not in despair, for His time of love. That waiting is not lost time. It makes the world and its affairs grow small and Christ grow great, and when the heart is at rest within, it cares little for trials or foes though they remain. We pray the Lord will open the right door in His perfect timing and keep you in quiet trust until He does.

You say it has been so dark and you remain worried about a person and a situation and what has happened and your own reaction. We do not take that lightly. We pray the Lord will search and calm your heart, give you peace with God through Jesus Christ which becomes peace of conscience within, and grant you light to see what is true and grace to respond as He would have you. Bear your sorrow with Him, and He will bear it for you.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, the God of peace, we thank You for Your keeping through this day and for every small mercy. We ask You to keep our brother in perfect peace as his mind is stayed on You. Provide for his daily needs, bless the work of his hands in this new labour, and give him wisdom to manage his disabilities and his time. Meet the need for his study fees according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. In Your good time provide a safe and suitable home. Guard him from the storm and from fear of what may come. Lift the darkness, forgive and cleanse through the blood of Christ, renew his peace when he is troubled, and teach him to wait patiently upon You. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, who has made peace by His blood. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
