We join you in lifting up your daughters and granddaughter before the throne of grace, crying out to our Heavenly Father for their total healing—body, soul, and spirit. Your heart as a mother and pastor is evident, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God. We praise Him that your daughters and granddaughter have been born again and confess Jesus as Lord, for this is the foundation of their hope. Yet, as you’ve shared, the battles they face are deep and complex, rooted in past wounds, rebellion, and the enemy’s lies. The Lord sees their suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted.
First, let us address the spiritual battle at hand. The trauma, abuse, and rebellion in their pasts have left scars that only the blood of Jesus can fully heal. The enemy has used these experiences to plant seeds of discouragement, depression, and even physical infirmity. But we know that Jesus came to "proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth the oppressed delivered" (Luke 4:18, WEB). We must rebuke the spirit of infirmity, the spirit of depression, and the spirit of death that has sought to steal, kill, and destroy in their lives. The Lord says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and we claim this promise over them now.
For your oldest daughter, we pray for the complete restoration of her gut, her radial nerve, and her right hand. The Lord knows how deeply she longs to worship Him through music, and we declare that He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We pray that the lawsuit she faces will be used by God to vindicate her and bring justice, but even more, that her heart would be guarded against bitterness or unforgiveness toward those who have wronged her. The Lord says in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* Let her trust Him fully in this, even as He heals her body.
We also pray against the discouragement she feels in her work. Serving others, especially in challenging circumstances, can be draining, but we ask the Lord to renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). May she find joy in knowing that her labor is not in vain when it is done for the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). If this job is no longer where He wants her, we pray He would open a new door—one that brings life, purpose, and restoration.
For your other daughter and granddaughter, we come against the stronghold of anorexia and body dysmorphia. These are not just physical battles but spiritual ones, rooted in lies about identity and worth. The Word says in Psalm 139:14, *"I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* We pray they would see themselves as God sees them—beloved, precious, and fearfully made. The enemy has sought to distort their perception, but we declare that the truth of God’s Word will break these chains. We pray for a supernatural appetite for food and for life, that their bodies would be restored from osteoporosis and insomnia, and that they would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We must also address the generational patterns at work here. Anorexia, trauma, and rebellion have touched multiple generations in your family, and we break these cycles in the name of Jesus. The Lord says in Exodus 20:5-6, *"I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments."* We pray that your family would be a lineage of those who love Him and keep His commandments, breaking free from every curse and walking in His blessing.
Lastly, we pray for family restoration. Alienation and division are not God’s will for your family. We ask the Lord to soften hearts, to bring repentance where needed, and to reunite your family in love and unity. May each of you surrender fully to Him, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). As you cry out day and night for their souls, be encouraged by Luke 18:7-8, where Jesus says, *"Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night? Will he defer helping them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly."*
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this mother, her daughters, and her granddaughter. Lord, You are the God who heals, the God who restores, and the God who redeems. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through their bodies—restore the gut, the radial nerve, the bones, the sleep, and every part that has been broken. Break the power of anorexia, body dysmorphia, and every lie that has taken root in their minds. Lord, renew their strength, their hope, and their joy.
We rebuke every spirit of depression, discouragement, and trauma that has sought to steal their peace. By the blood of Jesus, we break every generational curse and declare that this family will walk in freedom and victory. Restore their relationships, Lord, and bring unity where there has been division. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for Your presence, that they may surrender fully to You.
Father, we ask for justice in the lawsuit, but more than that, we ask for Your will to be done. Vindicate Your daughter, Lord, and let her see Your faithfulness. For those who have caused harm, we pray for repentance and salvation, that Your mercy would triumph over judgment.
Finally, Lord, we pray for this mother’s heart. Strengthen her, encourage her, and let her see the fruit of her prayers. Remind her that You are working even when she cannot see it, and that You are faithful to complete the good work You have started in her family.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your perfect timing. May Your name be glorified in their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
