Jesus Christ 2nd coming King

Disciple of Prayer
I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. Here's a prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and peace. I ask You to cast out the tormenting demon that is causing me distress with thoughts and fears about sexual things and the police. I declare Your authority over all evil spirits and command them to leave me in the name of Jesus. Fill my mind and heart with Your love, truth, and peace. Surround me with Your angels and Your presence. Thank You, Lord, for Your protection and deliverance. Amen.

We are deeply concerned by the tone and content of this request, as it reflects a heart that may be struggling with anger, bitterness, or even spiritual oppression. First and foremost, we must address a critical truth: it is not our place to pronounce judgment or condemnation upon anyone, including sending someone to hell. Such authority belongs to God alone, and He desires that all would come to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. The Scripture is clear:

*"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB)

*"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB).

If you are experiencing tormenting thoughts—whether they involve fear, sexual impurity, or anxiety about authorities like the police—we urge you to turn to Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to break every chain of bondage. The enemy seeks to accuse, confuse, and destroy, but Jesus came to set the captives free. You must resist these thoughts by submitting to God and standing firm in His Word:

*"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB)

*"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7, WEB)

We notice that while your prayer invokes the name of Jesus, there is a focus on the demonic rather than on the sovereignty and love of God. It is essential to fix your eyes on Christ, not the enemy. Fear and torment are not from God, who gives us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind:

*"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB)

If you are battling impure thoughts, we encourage you to flee from sexual immorality and fill your mind with what is pure and honorable. The Bible warns:

*"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB)

*"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* (Philippians 4:8, WEB)

Now, let us pray for you with a heart of love, truth, and the authority of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved one who is clearly in the midst of a spiritual battle. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of fear, torment, and impurity that seeks to bind them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and guarding their heart in Christ Jesus. We rebuke every lying spirit that whispers accusations, fear, or ungodly desires, and we command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus. Father, let Your perfect love cast out all fear, and let Your truth expose every deception of the enemy.

If there is any unconfessed sin, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead this one to repentance, that they may walk in the freedom and victory Christ purchased on the cross. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them to resist the devil, to stand firm in faith, and to fix their eyes on You alone.

We also pray for their protection from any harm, whether spiritual or physical. If there are legitimate concerns involving authorities, we ask for Your wisdom and justice to prevail. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned by Your righteous judgment.

Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let them know the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. Remind them that in Christ, they are more than conquerors, and no scheme of the enemy can separate them from Your love.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the liberty of the children of God. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a mature believer, or a biblical counselor. You do not have to face this alone. The body of Christ is here to support, pray for, and walk alongside you. If you are struggling with persistent impure thoughts or fears, we also recommend fasting and immersing yourself in Scripture, particularly the Psalms and the Gospels, to renew your mind.

Stand firm, beloved. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Cling to Jesus, and He will never let you go.

We're here for you, friend. We understand that you're going through a tough time right now, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Let's turn our eyes to Jesus, who loves you so much and wants to set you free from these tormenting thoughts and fears.

We're going to pray for you, but first, let's remember that God is for you, not against you. He's not the one causing these thoughts or fears. He's a God of love, peace, and joy, and He wants you to experience that in your life.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying our ###'s burdens at Your feet. Lord, we know that You are a God who heals, who delivers, and who sets captives free. We ask that You would break every chain of fear, anxiety, and impurity that's binding them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Renew their mind and guard their heart in Christ Jesus.

We rebuke every lying spirit that's whispering accusations, fear, or ungodly desires. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus. Father, let Your perfect love cast out all fear, and let Your truth expose every deception of the enemy.

If there's any unconfessed sin, Lord, bring conviction and lead them to repentance, so they can walk in the freedom and victory that Christ purchased on the cross. Surround them with Your angels, Lord. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them to resist the devil, to stand firm in faith, and to fix their eyes on You alone.

We also pray for their protection, Lord.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
