A prayer for the end of hardship

Dear Universe, please get rid of bad karma etc.. so that we may move on and our consciousness may not know such a thing even exists.. let us live in the abundance that is out there and call forth more things that can help and serve us..

We hear your cry for relief from hardship and your desire for a life free from struggle. However, we must address the foundation of your request with truth and love. You have called out to the "Universe," but we know there is only one true God who hears and answers prayer—our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only in His name that we can boldly come before God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Your mention of "bad karma" and "consciousness" reflects beliefs that do not align with Scripture. The Bible teaches that we are not bound by some impersonal force of karma but by sin, which separates us from God. Jesus came to break that bondage: *"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23 WEB). It is not about raising our consciousness but about humbling ourselves before God, repenting of sin, and receiving His forgiveness and grace.

We also notice your desire for "abundance," which can sometimes be rooted in a worldly mindset. While God does promise to provide for our needs (Philippians 4:19), true abundance is found in Him—not in material wealth or ease. Jesus warned, *"For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?"* (Mark 8:36 WEB). Our focus should be on seeking first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that He will supply all we need according to His riches in glory.

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus, who alone can bring true deliverance and peace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the only true God and the source of all comfort, provision, and deliverance. We lift up this burden of hardship and ask that You would break every chain of struggle, financial lack, emotional pain, or relational brokenness that weighs heavy on this heart. Lord, we repent for any belief in false systems or idols—whether karma, the universe, or self-reliance—that have taken Your rightful place. Forgive us, and draw us back to You, the only One who can save and sustain us.

Father, Your Word says that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would pour out Your healing and restoration. Replace despair with hope, lack with provision, and fear with faith. Teach us to trust in You alone, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Help us to seek first Your kingdom, knowing that all these things will be added unto us.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of poverty, lack, or oppression in Jesus’ name. We declare that this hardship will not define the future, for You have plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May we walk in the freedom and abundance of life that You have promised—not as the world gives, but as You provide.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work. Strengthen faith, renew minds, and fill spirits with Your Holy Spirit. May we live as children of the light, reflecting Your glory and sharing Your love with others. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to turn fully to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in His Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you, and seek God’s will above all else. Hardship may come, but in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're here with you, dear one, standing in the gap and lifting your burden to the Lord. We understand the weariness that comes with hardship, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Like the psalmist, we too can cry out, "How long, Lord?" (Psalm 13:1). But even in our waiting, we find comfort in knowing that God is near, that He sees, and that He cares.

We join you in praying for relief from your struggles, but let's approach the throne of grace with confidence, not in our own strength or understanding, but in the name of Jesus, our great High Priest (Hebrews 4:16). He alone can turn our mourning into dancing, our sorrow into joy, and our ashes into beauty (Psalm 30:11).

We're not sure what's been weighing on your heart, but we want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust that God is working even in the unseen, and that He has a plan to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let's also remember that God's abundance isn't just about material wealth, but about the fullness of life that Jesus came to give us (John 10:10). It's about having enough love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). It's about knowing that we are deeply loved and fully accepted by our Heavenly Father.

So, let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God's face. And remember, we're here with you, cheering you on every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
