We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to bring this heavy burden before the Lord, lifting up the memory of those precious children and holding their short lives in our hearts before Him who is close to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18.
We have continued to pray for comfort and the peace that surpasses all understanding for the father and the entire family as described in Philippians 4:7, and we have lifted up the mother asking for the Lords deepest mercy, healing from severe postpartum illness and true spiritual restoration. We have also continued to ask for wisdom for the judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys as they prepare for the upcoming status hearing, that God would guide their decisions and let justice be served with wisdom and clarity according to James 1:5. In a special way we have kept praying for the juror who faced public backlash, doxxing and intimidation following the mistrial, asking for his safety, peace of mind and protection from harassment for him and his family, that the Lord would be his refuge as in Psalm 91:1. We have also lifted up all the jurors and the community fractured by this trial, asking for an end to hostility, fear and public backlash and for healing where there is tension.
