Heavenly Father, Jehovah Shaphat, Jehovah Rohi: Jehovah Shalom; Jehovah Rapha, Great Physician; Jehovah Nissi, Great Deliverer:
I come to You once again in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Aside note to fellow petitioners: to protect confidentiality, I'm using the initials "K.B." to protect the identity of the person I'm praying for.)
Lord, You know the heart of K.B.. It's not my intent or desire to judge him, but it **is** the business of a Christian to be discerning, and I have discerned that K.B. most likely has antisocial personality disorder, or strong tendencies in that direction. In other words, as You know, Lord, K.B. has little to no empathy for others, has thrill-seeking tendencies, tends to be remorseless about the effects of his behavior on other people, and is prone to using people as though they are objects rather than seeing their humanity. He also is suave, charming, and highly manipulative. Lord, I fear the worst for this person. Unfortunately, Lord, I fear that he meets the criteria for what the Scriptures call wickedness and what secular psychologists call sociopathy.
It is not my desire to judge K.B.. I know that my "righteousness" is that of filthy rags, and that in Your eyes I'm no better than him, as all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And You are absolutely right, Lord! The only righteousness I have is that of Jesus on the cross. That's it. Yet what I'm saying, Lord, is that I fear that K.B. doesn't even have the covering of the Blood of Jesus; he hasn't truly accepted Jesus as His Lord and Saviour. Without Jesus, the "good people" and the wicked alike are consigned to the Lake of Fire. K.B. desperately needs Jesus, Heavenly Father.
Heavenly Father, this is what I'm requesting. I pray that you open the eyes of K.B., open his ears, and unveil his heart as to Who Jesus really is, the Son of God, the Fountain of Living Water and the Bread of Life. I ask You to step in and deliver K.B. from his wickedness by choosing him--electing him--to be given over to Jesus, for Jesus said, No one can come to me unless he be given of Me by My Father. Therefore, Lord Jehovah, I beg of You to give K.B. over to Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Who You give to Jesus will not be lost, for Jesus loses no one who has been given to Him. And I also claim Your promise that it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all become saved.
And Heavenly Father, I pray that after K.B. accepts Jesus as His personal Lord and Savior--or rededicates his life to the Lord Jesus--I pray that You create within K.B. a clean heart. I pray that You take out the heart of stone that is antisocial personality disorder and put within K.B. a heart of flesh--a beating, living, loving heart that empathizes with other people, a heart that sees other people as people, created in God's image, a heart that no longer desires to manipulate other people, treat them as objects, or hurts them in any way. I pray that You change the neurobiology of K.B.'s brain, taking away the need for thrill-seeking, the inability to empathize with others, the objectification of other people, etc. In its place, Lord Jehovah, I ask You in the Name of Jesus to transform and renew K.B.'s brain and mind, so that K.B. has the complete mind and heart of Christ, with all of the love, compassion, power, and holiness of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I know that You can do this. You are the Creator of the Universe. At Your bidding, galaxies came into existence within a moment's notice. At Your rebuke, the mountains tremble, the seas part, and the skies open up. You are the Great Designer, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. You composed and brought into existence atoms, molecures, subatomic particles, and the Milky Way. Through Your Son Jesus, You resurrected Lazarus from the grave. And with the power of the Holy Spirit--the same power and Presence that is in all true believers--You resurrected Jesus Himself from the grave, and gave all power and authority to Your Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, God the Son, who is sitting at Your right hand. From thence he will come to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
And I know from personal experience that You are the Rescuer. Through You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, my friend Lesa was rescued from her coma and is coming back to Jesus, Praise be to His Holy Name! You elected me and chose to give me to Jesus Christ, rescuing me from a life of black magic and narcissist tendencies. We love because You first loved us.
I know that there is NOTHING that is impossible with You. And I know that it is Your will that all humanity be saved. Therefore, I know it's Your Holy Will that K.B. be saved, and given a heart of flesh.
Thy Holy Will be done, Heavenly Father. **THY** Will be done. I will press, push, and pursue this until You let me know to stop interceding and start praising You for the coming glory to Your Name. Thy Will be done, Daddy. In the Name of Yeshua ben Yoseph of Nazareth, the Messiah, Jesus Christ--the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. AMEN, AMEN.
