A Prayer For Nathan

I got my son nathan from a behavioral center today. They told me there nothing wrong with him . That just having a temper fit like a toddler . But he needs help for his drug problem and alchol problem. i got him home he started calling me the b word started caling me names becauses i took him to a behavioral center. Throw a cup towards me his grandma told him to his room calm down. I told him as long as god keeps me alive he will finsh school and get help for him . Please pray for me for god to help me change my son life around.

Father I pray that you would touch this young man's heart. I pray that you would set him free of his drug and alcohol addiction. I pray that he would treat its family with respect and lovingkindness. I pray that he would stop being rebellious and disobedient. I pray that you would create in him a clean heart and renew an upright spirit within him. I pray that you would give this mother wisdom, guidance and divine direction. That she should raise her son in the way that he should go. I pray that you would help her help him. All-powerfull Lord and Master of our lives, I ask for healing in this difficult situation. Being a teen that has struggled with rebellion and disrespect myself, I pray for a softened heart and a new willingness to start over for Nathan. Help Mel to be persistent, yet patient, and help every word she says and everything she does to be filled with love. Help Nathan to realize the harm he is causing the people that love him and help his desires for drugs and alcohol to be wiped away. Let their relationship be reunited and strengthened through this difficult experience. Amen.

Mel, I am sixteen and about a year ago fell into a deep hole in my faith. I met a girl that was not a Christian and things went downhill very quickly. However, God blessed me with amazing parents who took drastic measures to show me the problems in my behavior and I feel I have now regained my footing in our relationship as well as my faith. Be persistent, patient, and above all - pray and show Nathan love. Do not despair, for the Spirit is powerful and God will continue to work on Nathan I will continue to pray for you and your son. Thank you very much your words really meant alot to me god bless you . My son has put me through alot. But trust me I aint giving up on him thank you for your prayer. Trust me lord will never leave us along as we have faith in him we. All have to prayer and mean it with all your heart for your prayer to be stronger.
