Dear Lord,
Please comfort my brother; he is in constant pain from back problems, that doctors say nothing can be done for. But I know in my heart that you can heal him, I know that miracles do still happen on this earth, I know I’ve seen them and felt them in my own heart. So that is what I’m praying for, a miracle, that you heal him from the inside out. That his soul is comforted by your sprit and that his back is healed by your mercy and grace.
I pray that he is healed and he knows beyond a doubt that it was your power that did it. I pray that if it be in your will to heal him that he gets down on his un-aching legs and bends his un-aching back, and that with tears of joy that he’s never felt before he thank you from the bottom of his heart and know you as his savior in this world and the better one to come.
I know that none of us really deserve the multitude of blessings that you grace us with each day. We take for granted so much, I pray that our eyes are opened to all you do for us, that we thank you first when we are blessed and turn to you first for strength during our times of need. I know bad things do happen to good people, and when those things do happen let us never put the blame on you but understand that your ways our not ours and your eyes see what we cannot. We are none truly deserving of all you do, so it is with nothing but pure love for a brother I cannot help, that I do the only thing I know can heal him – pray for a miracle.
I would thank anyone who would pray for him, may God by with you and keep you. And if nothing more comes from this prayer, at least know there are those that still believe in miracles.
