God we believe, help our unbelief, you know us, it is already done before we even ask, according to our belief.
Help us to call forth those things which be not as though they are, waiting for your perfectly timed answer in thankful service.
I hate uncertainty, but nothing in this world is eternal, it can not be relied upon, only you are always the same.
Therefore I can rely on you.
I know I rush ahead, I steal my own future by sinning this way, I cause my own storms, but you have compassion, you rescue me out of them all and set my foot on a rock so that I can start again. In the storm you are with me. I cry out don't you care that I am drowning! I am selfish.
Then you remind us to be still and know that you are God.
Now I know you better.
I pray that today you will grant us all the faith to let you work out our prayers in your own way and time, and to live as though they are answered, so we are properly prepared for them when the time comes.
By the fortitude of your spirit I will not tarnish your work again with my own understanding, and the understanding of men.
Teach me to simply enjoy you, just your presence, your countenance revitalizes a human soul. Let me feel your presence, drown out the noise, so that even those who are with me may feel the peace and power of your spirit too.
For all of us praying to you, I pray, in Jesus name. Amen
