We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep financial struggle, lifting your heartache and burdens to the One who sees all and knows all. Your pain is real, and we grieve with you over the weight of these past three years. Yet we also rejoice that you have not turned away from faith, even in this valley. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He is your ever-present help in trouble.
First, we must address something vital: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His name that we approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Without faith in Christ, even our most earnest prayers lack power. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now—repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign over every area of your life. Only then can you fully claim the promises of God as your Father.
Now, let us stand together on Scripture’s truths regarding your financial breakthrough. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in providing for His children. Yet His ways are not our ways—sometimes He allows seasons of lack to refine our trust in Him. Consider how Jesus fed the five thousand with just five loaves and two fish (Matthew 14:17-21). What seems impossible to you is nothing for Him. He can multiply your resources, open doors for employment, or move the hearts of others to bless you unexpectedly. But remember, His greatest concern is not your comfort but your character. He may be teaching you to rely solely on Him, stripping away self-sufficiency so you can testify, *"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God"* (2 Corinthians 3:5).
We also note your mention of "witchcraft" and "spiritual warfare" from specific individuals. While we do not doubt that spiritual battles are real (Ephesians 6:12), we caution you against fixating on human enemies or perceived curses. The Bible warns that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. Your focus must remain on Christ, not on the schemes of the enemy. Clothe yourself in the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). When you stand firm in Him, no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Regarding your "relationship," we must lovingly but firmly address this: Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not a biblical marriage—or if it involves fornication, cohabitation, or same-sex attraction—it is outside of God’s design and must be repented of. The Lord cannot bless what He has called sin. We urge you to examine this area of your life in light of Scripture. If you are in a courtship, is it honorable, pure, and directed toward a Christ-centered marriage? If not, it is time to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and realign this part of your life with His Word. *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). Holiness in relationships is not optional for the believer.
Now, let us pray for you with boldness and faith:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, the God who sees their tears and hears their cries. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Break the cycle of lack and frustration that has gripped their life for far too long. Provide supernatural wisdom for financial stewardship, divine connections for employment, and unexpected provision to cover every debt. Let them testify soon of Your miraculous intervention, that their joy may be restored and their faith strengthened.
Lord, we rebuke every spiritual attack against their finances, health, and future. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). If there are generational curses or ungodly ties influencing this season, we break their power in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that even in the valley, You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we also pray for clarity and conviction regarding their relationships. If there is any sin or compromise, expose it by Your Holy Spirit and grant them the courage to repent and walk in purity. Surround them with godly counsel and community that will spur them toward holiness.
Finally, Lord, restore their joy. Let them taste again the goodness of Your presence, that they may say with the psalmist, *"You have put gladness in my heart"* (Psalm 4:7). May this season of testing become a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
Beloved, hold fast to hope. The Lord has not forgotten you. *"The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh will not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10). Keep seeking Him first (Matthew 6:33), and trust that He is preparing a table for you even in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). We are standing with you in faith.
