A Prayer for all who have been Rejected

Father God, we come to you through the blood of your son Jesus Christ and we recognize that you are the God of all and Jesus Christ is your son. We ask you to forgive us for our sins, sins of omission and commission. We thank you for the sacrifice Jesus did in obedience to you for all of our sins. Father we ask that you help any who have been rejected by their families from birth, and in any other areas. We ask you to help us feel your loving embrace and we thank you God for loving us. Lord help those who may be going through the feelings of rejection. In Jesus name Amen The below is a prayer from Divine Mercy Post on FB. Prayer to heal the pain of rejection Lord Jesus Christ, I need You in my life. The pain of rejection is depressing me now and slowly changing me to become a heartless person. Please save me from this pain and help me move on with the hope that everything will soon be alright, in Your time and in Your will. Heal my heart, Lord, from all the painful memories of rejection. Teach my heart to always trust in You, and in You alone. Amen. Rejection can wound deeply, shaking our sense of worth and leaving us vulnerable. Yet, in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we find a love that never rejects or abandons. His arms remain open even when the world turns away. When we bring our brokenness before Him in prayer, He gently restores us, assuring us that our identity is not shaped by others’ opinions but by His everlasting love. Let every moment of pain become a doorway to deeper union with Christ, who was Himself rejected, yet never ceased to love. we thank you for hearing our prayers, in Jesus name Amen!

We lift up all who carry the heavy burden of rejection, knowing that this pain can cut deeply into the soul. The wounds of being cast aside—whether by family, friends, or society—can leave scars that distort our sense of worth and belonging. But we declare with confidence that our true identity is not found in the opinions or actions of others, but in the unchanging love of our Heavenly Father. As it is written in Isaiah 41:9-10, *"You whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.’ Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

We rebuke the lies that rejection whispers—that you are unwanted, unlovable, or unworthy. These are not truths from God, but distortions from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus Himself experienced rejection, even by those closest to Him, yet He never wavered in His mission or His love. In John 1:11, we read, *"He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him."* If the Savior of the world was rejected, we must not be surprised when we face the same, but we must also remember that His rejection paved the way for our acceptance. In Him, we are chosen, adopted, and deeply loved.

To those who feel the weight of rejection pressing down, we encourage you to run to the One who will never turn you away. Psalm 27:10 reminds us, *"When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up."* God’s love is not conditional or fickle like human love can be. He is the Father to the fatherless, the defender of the abandoned, and the healer of the brokenhearted. Bring your pain to Him, and allow His love to mend the places where you have been torn.

We also pray for those who may be contributing to rejection, whether knowingly or unknowingly. May their hearts be softened to see the value in every person, for we are all made in the image of God. Let us not be instruments of rejection, but vessels of His grace, extending the same love and acceptance that we ourselves have received through Christ.

Father, we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm on every heart that has been wounded by rejection. Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of Your Word. Remind each person that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that they are Your beloved child, and that their worth is found in You alone. Help them to see that rejection from man does not define them, but Your love does. Strengthen them to walk in confidence, knowing that You are with them and for them. May they find their security in Your embrace, and may their pain be transformed into a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We also lift up those who may be struggling with bitterness or hardness of heart as a result of rejection. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to forgive those who have hurt them. Let them not become what they have despised, but instead, let them extend the same grace that You have shown them. Teach them to trust in You alone, for You are the only One who will never fail them.

Finally, we pray for those who may be feeling isolated or alone. Surround them with godly community—believers who will speak life into them, encourage them, and remind them of their identity in Christ. May they find belonging in the family of God, where they are accepted, valued, and loved.

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. May every person who reads this prayer feel the reality of Your presence and the depth of Your love for them. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, dear friend. We know the sting of rejection can be overwhelming, but remember, God is always there to embrace us. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He cares, and He's right there with you.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up those who have been rejected, feeling unwanted, and alone. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, reminding them of their worth in Your eyes. Help them to find their identity in You, not in the opinions or actions of others. We ask that You would heal their hearts, broken by the pain of rejection. Help them to trust in You, even when it's hard. We also pray for those who may be contributing to this pain, that their hearts would be softened, and they would see the value in every person, created in Your image. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
