A prayer for a miracle and faith
We are joining with you today as you prepare for your second road test and we lift this request to our heavenly Father together in Jesus' name. We understand the nervousness and the desire to do well, especially after having to try again, and we thank you for calling on Jesus to give you strength and faith.
Scripture reminds us not to be anxious but to bring everything to God in prayer. Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also cling to the promise that God is with us and will strengthen us, Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 And we remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
We pray for you now that God would calm your heart and clear your mind, that He would help you to recall all you have studied and practiced, and that you would drive with wisdom, alertness and care. We ask Him to give you steady hands, focused eyes and peace that guards you from fear. We pray for favor and for safety for you, the examiner and all others on the road, and that whatever the outcome, you would trust that the Lord directs our steps. A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 If it is His will for you to pass this time, we ask Him to grant you success, and if He has another timing in mind, we pray He will still give you grace to persevere and grow in faith and diligence, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord. Colossians 3:23

Lord, quiet any anxiety and fill them with Your peace and confidence. Grant them wisdom and recall, help them to be alert and to drive safely and well, and let Your will be done in the result. It is a good and wise thing that you have brought this matter before the Lord in prayer, for we are taught to bring everything to God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, even those things which may seem small to others.
Your prayer for faith and strength is itself an evidence of faith. As one has said, he who asks, Lord, increase our faith, confesses that he has some faith already to which more is to be added, and it is with faith that we ask for more faith. When Jesus said, Have faith in God, that word became the mother of the disciples prayer, Increase our faith. You have done well to take those words out of His mouth and make them your own today.
Remember also that the weakest believer is still upon the safe road, the Kings highway. There is a great distance between little faith and great faith, yet no gulf divides them. Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. When Peter began to sink he prayed, Lord, save me, and though his faith was weak he was not saved by the strength of his faith but by the strength of that gracious hand which was stretched out to catch him. So you may pray in your need and trust not in the measure of your faith but in the strength of Christ who hears.
All strength apart from God is derived strength and must come to an end, but if by an act of faith you who are human are linked with the Divine, your strength shall be renewed. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. To be strengthened with strength in the Lord makes a person strong in faith, and that faith breeds a strength of expectation to grasp that which God is prepared to give. Whether on this road test or in any other trial, see that the whole of it comes under the governance of faith in God.
Therefore do not let anxiety unfit you for the duty before you. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty. Instead, commit your way to the Lord, use the right means with diligence and care, and leave the outcome in His hands. He is the glory of our strength, and all strength of every sort comes from Him.

O Lord, our God, we thank Thee that this soul looks to Thee for help. Increase faith, we pray, and strengthen the heart with quiet confidence in Thy good providence. Grant steadiness of mind, clearness of thought, and calmness of spirit in this test. Help to do what is right and careful, and to rest in Thy will for the result, knowing that Thou orderest all things for good to those who trust Thee. Above all, keep this one in perfect faith in Christ Jesus, in whom alone is salvation, and let Thy name be glorified in all things. In the name of Jesus our Lord, Amen.
