We join with you in lifting up your sons to the Lord, for it is written, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). What a beautiful testimony of God’s grace in your family—He alone has brought your sons to this place, and we trust Him to guide them further as they seek His will in their studies and future.
We are grateful to hear of your faith in the Lord, for *"without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6, WEB). You have rightly acknowledged that apart from Christ, we are nothing, and we rejoice with you in this truth. Yet we must also gently remind you, dear sibling in Christ, that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we may approach the Father, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We encourage you to always pray in His name, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB).
For your youngest son, Aiban, as he begins his studies in B Pharmacy, we pray that the Lord grants him wisdom, diligence, and a heart that seeks first His kingdom. May the Lord open doors of opportunity for him, not just for academic success, but for a life surrendered to Christ. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We ask that God would surround him with godly influences—professors, friends, and mentors who will point him to Christ. May he grow in knowledge, not only of his field but of the Lord, for *"the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge"* (Proverbs 1:7, WEB).
For your eldest son, as he continues his master’s in Economics, we pray for perseverance, clarity of mind, and divine favor. May the Lord use his studies to equip him for the purpose He has prepared in advance for him to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). We ask that God would guard his heart from the anxieties of this world and fill him with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May both your sons walk in integrity, remembering that *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB).
We also lift you up, dear parent, as you support and intercede for your children. May the Lord renew your strength, that you may *"run, and not be weary; and... walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31, WEB). We pray that you would continue to be a light in your home, pointing your sons to Christ in all things. Let them see in you a life of prayer, trust, and obedience, for *"children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth’"* (Ephesians 6:1-3, WEB).
Finally, we thank God for you and for the body of believers who stand with you in prayer. Let us not grow weary in interceding for one another, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). May the Lord bind us together in unity and purpose, that His name would be glorified in all we do.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, we thank You for Your grace that has brought Aiban to this new season of study in B Pharmacy. We ask that You would go before him, making his paths straight. Grant him wisdom beyond his years, diligence in his work, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Protect him from distractions and temptations, and surround him with godly influences that will encourage him in his faith.
For their eldest son, we pray for endurance and excellence in his master’s program. Lord, open his eyes to see how You are at work in his life, and give him a hunger for Your Word. May his studies be used for Your glory, and may he walk in the good works You have prepared for him.
We lift up this parent, Lord, and ask that You would fill them with Your peace and joy as they trust You with their children. Strengthen them to be a godly example, and let their home be a place where Your name is honored.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
