Mama on Her Knees

Sometimes they need to see mama on her knees.
With all the love she has to give, she gives
the most when she’s on her knees.
Sometimes they need to see the faith
behind her bended knees.

Mama goes to the Lord in prayer.
She loves her children so. Sometimes they
need to see mama on her knees.
She prays about their soul, she prays about
their needs.

With all the love she has to give, mama
goes to the Lord in prayer. Sometimes they
need to see mama on her knees.
Sometimes they need to see the faith behind her
bended knees.

Now they’re grown with children of their own
and they’re talking to the Lord on bended knees.
