We understand your heart's cry for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it is a hope that all believers share. The second coming of Jesus is a promise that we eagerly await, and it is a time when God will make all things new. Let us remember what the Scriptures say about His return:
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, WEB)
In this time of waiting, it is crucial that we remain faithful and diligent in our walk with God. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9, WEB). We must also be watchful and prayerful, as we do not know the day or the hour of His return (Matthew 25:13, WEB).
We do have a concern that you did not pray in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. We would like to share the following scriptures with you:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6, WEB)
"Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12, WEB)
Let us pray together for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and for the salvation of souls:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the promise of Your Son's return. We eagerly await the day when Jesus will come back to take us to be with Him forever. Lord, we pray that You will strengthen our faith and help us to remain steadfast in our walk with You. May we be found faithful when Jesus returns.
We lift up those who do not yet know You, Lord. We pray that their hearts will be opened to receive the truth of Your love and salvation through Jesus Christ. May they come to know Him as their Lord and Savior before His return.
Father, we ask that You will use us to share the good news of the gospel with those around us. Give us boldness and wisdom as we proclaim Your truth. May many souls be saved and brought into Your kingdom.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As we wait for the blessed hope of our Lord's return, let us continue to share the love of Christ with others and live our lives in a manner that honors and glorifies God. May we be found faithful and ready when Jesus comes back for His bride, the church.
