We understand that your church is facing a challenge due to an upcoming road construction project that will affect your current place of worship. We join you in prayer that God will provide a new location for your congregation to gather and worship Him.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of Jesus and the importance of His name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, for it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In matters of the church, we are reminded in Matthew 16:18 WEB: "I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it." We trust that Jesus will build and strengthen your church, even in this situation.
We pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sisters and brothers who are seeking a new place of worship. Lord, You know their needs and the challenges they face. We ask that You provide them with a new location that will allow them to continue worshipping You and serving their community. Give them wisdom and discernment as they search, and open the doors that need to be opened.
In the meantime, strengthen their faith and resolve, that they may continue to be a light in their community. May this situation be an opportunity for them to witness to others about Your unfailing love and provision. We also pray for the local government, that they may show favor and consideration towards the church.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to be patient yet persistent in seeking a new place of worship. This could be an opportunity for your church to grow and reach out to new communities. Trust in the promise given in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we gently remind you to avoid using symbols or characters in your future prayer requests. May God bless you and your church abundantly during this time.
