A new beginning

Dear god, Aaliyah keep trying to rush me to go into the shelter. She doesn't understand why the other shelter was faster then this one. I got my things packed and ready to go. Baron said dont expect to go until the weekend. I asked if he can do a referral for other homeless shelters. I don't know which ones are good. I don't know which ones will actually help me. I pray for other options. I pray that I get approved as soon as possible. When I do I pray that I get peace in Jesus name. I pray that I get a successful outcome from this. I pray that I get approved to go into a shelter thats a good shelter and a shelter that's going to actually help me. I ask that you bless me with housewarming gifts after or before I move into my place. I want to help the homeless financially. I want to help my church financially. I ask that you provide me with the means to help them financially In Jesus name amen.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek stability and provision. First, we want to acknowledge your trust in the Lord, even in the midst of uncertainty. You are not forgotten, and God sees your need. The Word tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." You are seeking Him, and He will provide.

We also want to gently encourage you in your interactions with others. It’s understandable to feel frustrated when things don’t move as quickly as we’d like, but we must remember to respond with patience and grace, even when others may not understand. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when the process feels slow.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and impatience that may be trying to take root in your heart. The enemy would love for you to feel overwhelmed, but God has not given you a spirit of fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your provider and your protector.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear child of Yours who is seeking shelter, stability, and provision. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who provides. We ask that You open the right doors for them, leading them to a shelter that will not only meet their physical needs but also minister to their spirit. Father, we pray against any delays or obstacles that are not of You. If there is a specific shelter You have prepared for them, we ask that You make the way clear and swift.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom in this process. Guide them to the right resources, the right people, and the right decisions. Give them discernment to know which shelters will truly help them and which may not be the best fit. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You bless them abundantly, not just for their own needs, but so they can be a blessing to others. You’ve placed a desire in their heart to help the homeless and their church financially, and we know that You delight in a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). Provide them with the means to do so, Lord, and let their generosity be a testimony of Your goodness.

We pray for peace to flood their heart, mind, and spirit. Let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. When they move into their new place, Lord, we ask that You bless it and fill it with Your presence. May it be a sanctuary of peace, a place where they can grow closer to You, and a home that reflects Your love.

We also pray for Aaliyah and Baron, Lord. Give them understanding and patience as they assist in this process. Soften their hearts and help them to see this situation through Your eyes. Let Your love and grace flow through them as they interact with this Your child.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are already working on their behalf, even when they can’t see it. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We declare that this is a season of new beginnings, and we speak life, provision, and blessing over them in Jesus’ name.

Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, God is not just preparing a place for you, He is preparing you for the place He has for you. Keep your heart open to His leading, and trust that He will direct your steps. You are not alone in this journey.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
