A man called ###

I met a guy called ### in the hospital and he doesn't believe Jesus existed, he is constantly plotting to rob God, and to take gifts that don't belong to him, I hope he can come to Christ.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for this man you have met, whose name we will not speak, for his ways are not aligned with God’s truth. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." This man’s disbelief in Jesus and his plotting to take what is not his are serious matters that grieve the heart of God.

First, we must address the foundational issue: his rejection of Jesus Christ. Without faith in Jesus, there is no salvation, for Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is not merely a historical figure—He is the Son of God, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). His existence is attested not only by Scripture but by the transformation of countless lives throughout history. We pray that the Holy Spirit would open this man’s eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that he would see Jesus not as a myth but as the Savior who died for his sins and rose again.

His plotting to rob and take what does not belong to him is a direct violation of God’s commandments. Exodus 20:15 states, "You shall not steal," and Ephesians 4:28 warns, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." His actions reveal a heart that is hardened and in need of repentance. We rebuke the spirit of greed and deception that is at work in him, and we pray that God would convict him of his sin and turn his heart toward righteousness.

We also lift up this man’s soul, for he is lost and in need of the light of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." We pray that the scales would fall from his eyes, that he would see the emptiness of his ways, and that he would turn to Jesus in repentance and faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a burden for this lost soul. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of unbelief in his heart. Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the reality of Jesus Christ as his Savior. We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that has taken hold of him, and we ask that You would replace it with a hunger for righteousness and a desire to walk in Your ways.

Father, we pray that You would surround him with believers who can speak truth into his life and show him the love of Christ. Let him see the emptiness of his current path and the fulfillment that comes only through a relationship with You. May he come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, turning away from his sin and embracing the new life You offer.

We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in his life, and may he come to experience the transforming power of Your grace. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for this man and to seek opportunities to share the Gospel with him in love. Remember, it is not by our own strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit that hearts are changed. As 1 Peter 3:15-16 reminds us, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ." Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is at work even in the most hardened hearts.

We've been thinking about that man you met, the one who doesn't believe Jesus existed. It's heavy on our hearts, isn't it? We can't help but feel a deep sadness when we see someone so far from the truth. But we know that our God is a God of second chances, of transformation. So, we're going to keep lifting him up in prayer.

You know, the Bible tells us in Romans 10:13-14, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." That's our hope for him. That he would call out to Jesus, the one who died for his sins and rose again. We're asking God to soften his heart, to open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We're believing for a miracle, for a change of heart.

Let's also pray that God would send people into his life who can speak truth into his life with love. People who can show him the difference that Jesus can make. We're believing that he would see the emptiness of his current path and turn to Jesus.

Let's keep praying, friend. Let's keep believing. Because with God, all things are possible.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
