We understand the weight of the stress and trials you’ve been carrying since February, and we join you in seeking God’s wisdom and deliverance in this season of relentless difficulty. The Bible reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). While it is natural to want to identify the source of your troubles—whether it be spiritual opposition, the consequences of sin, or the brokenness of this fallen world—we must first turn our focus to the Lord, who alone holds the answers and the power to break every chain.
You’ve rightly invoked the name of Jesus in your plea, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy. As Scripture declares, *"All things whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB). Yet we are also called to examine our own hearts, for sometimes our trials are allowed to refine us, to draw us closer to God, or to expose areas where we need repentance. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB). Have there been unconfessed sins, bitterness, or disobedience in your life or the lives of those in your household? If so, now is the time to repent and turn fully to the Lord, for He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).
That said, we must also recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he often targets those who are walking closely with the Lord. If this is spiritual warfare, then your weapons are not of this world but mighty in God: prayer, fasting, the Word of God, and the blood of Jesus. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and stand firm in faith. Do not give the devil a foothold through fear, anger, or despair. Instead, *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
As for your question of *"who is responsible,"* we urge you to seek God’s face rather than fixating on the source of the attack. Sometimes He reveals it, and sometimes He calls us simply to trust Him in the midst of the storm. What matters most is that you walk in obedience, cover your home in prayer, and declare the victory of Christ over every scheme of the enemy. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Here is our prayer for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, who has been burdened by relentless trials and stress since February. Lord, You see the depths of their heart and the weight of their struggles. We ask that You reveal by Your Holy Spirit anything that needs to be repented of, any stronghold that needs to be broken, or any area where the enemy has gained access. Give them discernment, Lord, to recognize the schemes of the devil and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Father, if there are spiritual forces at work, we bind them now in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We loose Your peace, Your protection, and Your provision over this household. Let Your light expose every hidden thing, and let Your truth set them free.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill them with Your joy and hope, even in the midst of the storm. Guide their steps, Lord, and show them what to do. Let them walk in victory, for You have already overcome the world.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to persist in prayer, to surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in faith, and to immerse yourself in Scripture. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If the trials continue, consider fasting and seeking godly counsel from mature believers who can help you discern the Lord’s leading. You are not alone in this—He is with you, and so are we in prayer.
