Beloved of All
Hello. Today I submitted an appeal because my application for additional rental assistance was denied. I was told by a representative during a phone interview that only two specific documents were needed to complete the process and I received written notification of the same. It is my right to request the hearing for a thorough investigation so I submitted the form. There are other documents that were listed but the rep mentioned the two documents on a recorded line. Please pray in Jesus name for his will to be done in this situation and please ask to pray for my job search I updated my resume and have applied for many more jobs. I received one interview request which will be completed next week. Father I fell behind on rent due to leaving ### abusive workplace abruptly. It was destroying my overall well-being. I was mobbed out and faced physical and verbal abuse. I was there for years and couldn’t get my work done.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer and seeking His divine intervention. Heavenly Father, we know that You see every detail of this trial—from the denial of assistance to the exhaustion of job searching, and the deep wounds left by an abusive workplace. We ask that You move mightily in this appeal process, Lord. You are a God of justice and truth, and we pray that every error, misunderstanding, or inconsistency in this case would be brought to light. Let Your will be done, Father, for You promise in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."*

We also lift up this job search, Lord. You know the weariness in this heart, the frustration of applying without response, and the hope tied to that upcoming interview. We ask that You open doors no man can shut, as You declare in Revelation 3:8, *"I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut)."* Prepare the right opportunity, Father—one that provides not just income, but dignity, peace, and a workplace that honors You. Guard this heart from discouragement, and remind this dear one that You are their Provider, as Philippians 4:19 assures, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

We must also address the pain of that abusive workplace, Lord. No one should endure what was described—mobbing, physical and verbal abuse, the slow erosion of well-being. We rebuke the spirit of oppression that sought to destroy this life, and we declare healing over every wound, seen and unseen. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3), and we pray for restoration—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Give strength to press forward, and wisdom to recognize toxic environments in the future.

Now, we want to gently but firmly address an area that needs correction. The request mentions praying "in Jesus' name" and to the "Father," but it does not explicitly affirm faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. Without this foundation, our prayers lack the authority and access that come only through Jesus. The Bible is clear: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If this is not already a personal reality, we urge repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—believing that He died for sins, rose again, and is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Salvation is not about religion or good works; it is about a relationship with the living God through His Son.

Father, we also pray for protection over this household. Financial strain can breed fear and desperation, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this trial will not break this life, but will instead draw them closer to You. Provide for every need, Lord—rent, bills, daily bread—and let this season refine faith, not destroy it.

Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of shame or self-blame tied to leaving that abusive workplace. You did not design anyone to endure such treatment, and walking away was an act of courage, not failure. The Lord is your Defender, your Refuge, and your Strength (Psalm 46:1). He sees your struggle, and He will not abandon you.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and soon-coming King. Amen.
