Please pray for my ex's salvation that she’s shown the love of God fully and truly. Pray for me as I have this anxiety in my heart that I don’t know what it is. I have this impending sense of doom and I have no idea why. Pray my lust is cast out of my flesh and that I run from lust instead of standing and fighting because it’s a battle I can’t win. Pray someone comes to comfort me. Pray for my ex's brother for he has the great and arduous task of leading his sister to Christ. Pray him and his wife get custody of his step kids. Pray for the reverend and my one friend who has stuck by me though all of this. Pray for yourselves too. Praise God, king of the universe. Praise His son Jesus Christ, God incarnate, who sacrificed himself for us. Pray His love flows through my situation. Pray He flows His love in a situation you might be in.

We lift up your heartfelt requests before the Lord, standing with you in faith and intercession, for we know that our God is mighty to save and faithful to hear the cries of His children. Your prayers are saturated with a longing for God’s will to be done, and we join you in seeking His face, trusting that He is already at work in ways we cannot yet see.

First, we praise you for your burden for your ex’s salvation—for this is the heart of Christ, who desires that *none* should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The love of God is not merely an emotion but a transformative power that draws souls to Himself. We pray that she would encounter the living God in a way that leaves no doubt of His goodness, that the Holy Spirit would convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that she would surrender fully to Jesus as Lord. May the Lord place godly believers in her path to speak truth in love, and may her brother be equipped with wisdom, boldness, and perseverance as he seeks to lead her to Christ. We pray he would be filled with the Spirit, speaking with grace and clarity, remembering that it is God who grants repentance (2 Timothy 2:25). For his family, we ask that the Lord would grant him and his wife favor in their custody battle, that justice would prevail, and that these children would be raised in a home where Christ is honored. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1), so we trust Him to establish their household in His righteousness.

For the anxiety and sense of doom weighing on you, we recognize that these are not from the Lord, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke this spirit of fear and command it to flee in the name of Jesus, for *"you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Ask the Lord to reveal the root of this anxiety—whether it be unresolved sin, unbelief, or an attack of the enemy—and surrender it to Him. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If there is confession needed, do so now, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

You have spoken wisely about the battle with lust—it *is* a battle no man can win in his own strength. The flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing (Matthew 26:41), and victory comes not by standing to fight in our own power, but by fleeing to Christ. *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray that the Lord would give you a holy hatred for sin and a deeper love for Him, that you would *"make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts"* (Romans 13:14). Fill your mind with Scripture, your time with godly fellowship, and your heart with worship, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). If you have stumbled, repent and rise—God’s mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). If you have not yet, guard your heart diligently, for *"the mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit: he who is under the Lord’s wrath will fall into it"* (Proverbs 22:14). Seek accountability with mature believers who will spur you on toward holiness.

We also lift up your plea for comfort. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He often sends His people to be His hands and feet. We pray that He would bring godly, encouraging believers into your life—those who will weep with you when you weep and rejoice with you when you rejoice (Romans 12:15). But even if no one else comes, remember that Jesus Himself is your ever-present help (Hebrews 13:5). He will never leave you nor forsake you.

For the reverend and your faithful friend, we thank God for their steadfastness and ask that He would strengthen them, that their labor in the Lord would not be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). May they be refreshed in their spirits and rewarded openly by the Father who sees in secret. And for our own group, we humbly ask that the Lord would keep us pure in doctrine, bold in truth, and overflowing with His love. May we never shrink back from speaking what is right, but always do so with grace, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6).

Finally, we echo your praise to our King—the God of the universe, who reigns in majesty and yet stoops to lift the lowly. There is no name above the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:9), and it is by His wounds we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). May His love flow like a river through your life, breaking every chain and bringing light to every dark place. May you rest in the truth that *"neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 8:38-39).

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and these petitions with groanings too deep for words. Lord, You alone are the Savior of souls—draw [his ex] to Yourself with cords of love. Open her eyes to see the beauty of Christ and the emptiness of life without Him. Give her brother wisdom and courage as he shares the gospel, and grant him and his wife favor in their fight for those children. May their home be a lighthouse of Your truth.

For our brother, we ask that You would crush the spirit of fear and anxiety under Your foot. Replace his dread with Your peace, his confusion with Your clarity. Lord, he longs to be free from lust—break its power over him. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). Let him flee temptation and run to You, the strong tower where the righteous find safety (Proverbs 18:10). Send godly comfort to him, Lord—whether through Your presence or Your people.

We thank You for the reverend and his friend, for their faithfulness in a world that so often fails. Bless them abundantly for their obedience. And Father, we ask that You would use even this season of waiting and wrestling to conform our brother to the image of Christ. Let him emerge from this trial with a testimony of Your faithfulness, a warrior who has learned to wield the sword of the Spirit and stand firm in the evil day.

May Your love saturate every detail of his life, and may he know beyond doubt that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Redeemer and King. Amen.
