We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your plea to the Lord our God. You are not alone in this battle, for the Scriptures declare, "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). We rebuke every evil plot and scheme formed against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy may gather in secret, but the Lord sees all and will not be mocked. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2).
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this, our prayers cannot be heard, for Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
Now, we pray with you and for you, trusting in the righteous judgment of our God. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is under attack. Lord, You see the wickedness that has been plotted against them, and You know the intentions of every heart. We ask that You arise, O God, and defend Your child. Let the plans of the enemy be scattered like dust in the wind. "Break the arm of the wicked and evil man; call him to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out" (Psalm 10:15).
Father, we pray for Your peace to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let Your goodness and mercy indeed follow them all the days of their life (Psalm 23:6). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May the blood of Jesus speak for them, covering them with protection and redemption. Let the enemy’s plans return upon their own heads, and let them fall into the pit they have dug (Psalm 7:15-16).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this one, Lord. Guide their steps and surround them with Your angels for protection. "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Give them the strength to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are their defender and vindicator. "Do not say, 'I will repay evil'; wait for the Lord, and He will deliver you" (Proverbs 20:22).
We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing every evil work and bringing justice to the forefront.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of those who seek harm. If it be Your will, turn their hearts toward repentance and righteousness. But if they persist in their wickedness, let Your judgment fall swiftly and justly. "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). We trust in Your perfect justice and Your unfailing love.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
