We understand that you are seeking a good job with fair remuneration, stability, and growth in your career and finances. You've expressed anxiety due to aging and the potential for a decrease in pay. You've asked for grace, perseverance, boldness, power, and love on this journey, and we will join you in prayer.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And as it says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We must also remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let us pray together:
Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. We ask that You would provide a good job with fair remuneration, stability, and growth, according to Your will. We pray for Your grace, perseverance, boldness, power, and love to fill them during this journey. We stand in agreement with their declaration that their pay will not be cut short and that the job provided will meet their heart's desires and those of their loved ones in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray that the job provided will be close to their home, less stressful, and will meet their financial needs. We pray for Your protection over them in this job and that they would be a blessing to others through it. We pray that they would keep their eyes on You, trusting in Your provision and timing.
Lastly, we pray that You would take all the glory and adoration, that Your name would be lifted high, and that Your will would be done. We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name. Amen
