We join with you in prayer for your son and for your journey today and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.
We love your desire to see your son cared for well and to return safely to worship with the church family. The Lord delights in our dependence on Him for even these practical details.
We are reminded of His promise to watch over our coming and going, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward and forevermore Psalm 121:8. And we take comfort that a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9. You have planned to seek care for your son and to be in the house of the Lord, and we trust God to order your steps. He also promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8. For our God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33, so we pray against any confusion or delay, and we bring your requests to Him with thanksgiving, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We ask for Your hand of protection over their trip there and back, keep them safe from harm and guide them without confusion. Give wisdom and steady hands to the dentist and staff, and give peace to this dear son, that the appointment would go smoothly and be effective for his health. Remove any obstacle or confusion that would hinder them, and make a clear way for them to return in time for church to worship You. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask this according to Your will and in Jesus name, amen.

We join you in prayer for your son and for your journey, and we bring your request before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is right to ask the Lord for these mercies, for He is the keeper of His people. The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. May that perfect peace be yours as you go forth and as you return. When your mind is stayed upon the Lord, even amid the small cares of this life, you may know that you are in His hands.
We pray that the Lord will cover you with His feathers and that under His wings you shall trust, that He will grant your son a good appointment with the dentist, with skill and kindness shown to him, and with no fear or pain beyond what is necessary. We ask the Father, who cares for His own dear children and who does not rest while His little ones are in need, to watch over your son with tender care.
We pray also for your traveling, that the Lord who is the great Captain of our providence, who knows every wind and ordains every step, will give you a safe trip there and back. Having confidence in God, His promise is verified and His child is not put to confusion.
