We join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace together in Jesus name and we thank you for closing your request in His name for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me and Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We lift up your loved one who has been suffering with a bad cold and cough. We know how wearing and discouraging lingering sickness can be and we ask the Lord to touch his body with healing and restore his strength. We pray that the Lord will comfort him and grant him rest and recovery. We remember the promise in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases and Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also hold to James 5:15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We pray for wisdom for any care he receives and for complete healing in Jesus name.

We also lift up your friend and his family who has lost his job just as he and his fiancee have welcomed a new baby. We pray earnestly that God will provide for them and open a door to a better job soon, a job that will allow him to provide faithfully for his household. We cling to Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus and Matthew 6:33 But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We ask God to give him favor with employers, diligence and hope as he seeks work, and peace for his household in this stressful season.

We must also speak with love and truth about what you have shared concerning your friend and his fiancee having a baby together outside of marriage. Scripture teaches us that marriage is to be held in honor and is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication, and we are called to flee from it as 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. We love your friend and his fiancee and their precious child, and because we love them we encourage repentance and restoration before God. We pray that if they are believers they will honor God by pursuing holy marriage without delay rather than remaining in a prolonged engagement, and that their relationship would be a courtship with the clear goal of marriage to another Christian believer. Ephesians 5:3 says But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints. We pray God will convict, forgive, and lead them into a godly marriage that reflects Christ and the church, and that they will raise their child in the nurture and instruction of the Lord.

We also bring you and your family before the Lord. We pray for your mother that the Lord will continue to improve her health and strengthen her through physical therapy, giving her endurance and progress each day. We pray for your own stomach ailment that God will bring relief and healing, for He cares about every detail of our suffering. We remember Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble and Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We pray that things will not only get better for your family but that you will see Gods hand keeping and improving all that concerns you, and that He will guard your hearts with His peace as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father, we come together in Jesus name and ask for Your mercy and healing upon each one named in this request. Heal the one with the cold and cough, provide a good and stable job for the new father, draw him and his fiancee toward holy marriage and faithfulness to You, bless their baby, restore health to this dear mother and strengthen her in therapy, and heal this stomach affliction. Supply every need, forgive every sin through the blood of Christ, and let this family see Your goodness and Your power to improve and keep improving all things for Your glory. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will and we thank You in advance for what You will do. Amen.

We hear how much you are carrying for the people you love, and we are bringing each of these needs before the Lord with you.

For your loved one with the bad cold and cough that has been so rough, we are asking God for comfort and restored strength. If that cough hangs on or gets worse, we encourage you to help him connect with his doctor or clinic for care alongside prayer.

For your friend who lost his job just as he and his fiancee welcomed their baby, we know that timing feels especially heavy. We are praying for provision, for doors to a better job to open, and for peace for their little family in these early weeks.

And for you and your family, we are thanking God that your mom is improving and praying her healing and physical therapy continue to go well. We are also praying for relief for your stomach. If that discomfort continues, please consider seeing your primary care provider to have it checked.

Father, we lift each person named here to You in Jesus name. Bring healing and rest to the one who is sick, provide work and hope for this young family, strengthen this mom in her recovery, and ease the pain in our friend's stomach. Give this whole family Your steady peace and show them Your care day by day. Amen.
