The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Your request is pleasing to the Lord, for you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, acknowledging your dependence on His guidance.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it is no surprise that fraudsters would exploit vulnerable situations for their own gain. But we serve a God who is greater, and we can trust in His promise from Psalm 37:5, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* As you consider these offers of assistance, we pray that the Holy Spirit would sharpen your discernment, exposing any deception and leading you only to what is honest, safe, and aligned with God’s will. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We also lift up a prayer of protection over your benefits and those of others who rely on them. The Lord is a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5), and we ask that He would frustrate the plans of those who seek to steal or defraud. May He expose their schemes and bring them to justice, for He is a God of righteousness who sees all things. *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and judgments for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6).
Let us also encourage you to take practical steps in wisdom. Verify the legitimacy of any company or offer through trusted sources, and never share sensitive information without confirmation of their authenticity. The Lord often works through our diligence, and we are called to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16).
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine wisdom and protection for Your child who has brought this request. Lord, You know the details of every offer and the hearts of those behind them. Grant supernatural discernment to recognize truth from deception. Guard every benefit from theft or fraud, and let Your hand of protection rest upon those who are vulnerable. Expose the works of darkness and bring to light anything hidden in deceit. We ask that You would provide legitimate opportunities for assistance, ones that honor You and bless Your people without harm. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and provision.
