A Call For Fasting

This has been weighing on my mind for sometime and now after a number of confirmations I believe God is trying to say something. I would like all standers to fast with me for not just your own marriage but for all marriages where there is a stander praying for a restored marriage. In the book of Esther we see how powerful fasting can be, and how God acknowledges our sacrifice and dedication when we deny our flesh and follow our Lord and seek Him full hearted.

If you are reading this and not a stander for your marriage I would also like to invite you to this fast to pray that God will heal all marriages according to His word, knowing that He hates divorce. Please leave a comment with your name your spouses name (first names only) and if there is another person involved with your spouse we want to pray for their salvation as well. After all God wishes all people to be saved and Jesus died for everyone's sins not just your spouses and yours. I would like to start with a 3 day fast, but only do what the Holy Spirit guides you to do.

I encourage you to read the book of Esther to see how powerful fasting is.

Leave a comment with the names and please take all names of everyone added and pray for them along with your marriage. This is the year of a huge harvest of souls turning to the Lord and i beleive our spouses are part of the harvest. Keep watching my blogs as i will post the start day of the fast.

Scott this is amazing because God has also called me to fast. I started today. I'm doing a five day fast (monday - friday) from 7 am to 6 pm. I am also doing it for my marriage and all other hurting marriages as well. God is definitely about to do something if He is calling us to fast. Praise Him!!
