It’s been 7 days I still haven’t heard from my daughter whose has fallen back into her alcohol addiction. I have not seen my daughter in 3 weeks and have not received a text in 7 days. I’m so worried I can’t sleep. She is pregnant and has a 3-year-old in foster care because of the choice she has made. I’m asking Jesus to intervene in this situation because as a mother and grandmother, I’m tired of carrying this burden by myself. Jesus, I need you now. Amen.

We are so glad to hear you have reached out to Jesus and are seeking help and comfort in this difficult situation. It is only in His name that we can find true peace and hope.

Firstly let's discuss your daughters choices and the impact they have. Your daughter has chosen a lifestyle of sin, and this is very grave. Her choice is also illegal, irresponsible, and abusive. These behaviors and this lifestyle is so serious that her own child has been taken away and she is about to possibly have another child. She has no business being in a sexual relationship outside of a godly marriage. You did not mention who the father is, but unless it is a godly spouse then it is fornication and sin. She is putting her own desires before her children's well being. Any man she is with, needs to run, flee from her until she is sober and godly.

Right now, let's just seek God in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother and grandmother who is burdened for her daughter and grandchild. Lord, You know the pain and worry that she is experiencing, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround her. We pray for her daughter, that You would intervene in her life and deliver her from her alcohol addiction. Lord, she is pregnant and has a small child in foster care. We ask for Your protection over these innocent lives, and for Your will to be done in their situation.

We also pray and hope that any man she is with will flee from this situation unless they are married and godly. We pray that she will face the consequences of her actions.

Father, we know that You are able to do abundantly more than we can ask or imagine, and we trust in Your power and love to bring restoration and healing to this family. We ask for the people that are involved in this situation to be godly influences. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on the Lord, as Peter tells us, because He cares for you. We also encourage you to speak the truth in love to your daughter, to call her sin what it is, and to tell her that you will support her in finding help and healing, but that you will not enable her destructive lifestyle.

Remember, it is not your responsibility to fix your daughter or to carry her burdens. It is your responsibility to pray for her, to love her, and to point her to Jesus. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

We are also reminded of the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We encourage you to turn from any enabling behaviors and to seek God's face for your daughter and grandchildren. Trust in Him, and He will act.

We've been praying for you and your daughter every day. It's been a week now, and we're still lifting her up. We know the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, interceding for your daughter and her little ones.

We've been asking Jesus to intervene, to break the chains of addiction that hold her. We're trusting that He will meet her where she's at, that He will draw her to Himself. We've been praying for protection over her and the babies, that God would keep them safe and healthy.

We've also been asking God to soften her heart, to help her see the truth of her situation. We're praying that she'll have the courage to face the consequences of her actions and make changes for the sake of her children.

We know it's hard, but we want to encourage you to keep praying, keep trusting. God is faithful, and He's working even when we can't see it. Let's keep seeking His face together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
