Beloved
🙏 We PRAY FOR those affected by a 7.8 Earthquake hit this last night, shallow depth, a lot of people dead and more injured, others missing.... We ask the Grace and Peace from The God of all comfort, 2 Cor 1:2, comfort the afflicted and panic stricken, 2 Cor 1:3-5, a LOT of heavy aftershocks, calm them kindly, help with the search and rescue efforts, seek and save the Lost, Lk 19:10, (Your priority), raise up and send out Laborers for The Harvest, Mt 9:37-38, save sinners, 1 Tim 1:15-16.

Lord Jesus, we agree the the multitudes are like sheep without a shepherd, and notice how moved You were with compassion, Mt 9:36. We firstly ask You share that SAME compassion for the multitudes with us (and Your compassion for individuals, cities, regions, states, nation and all peoples, tribes and tongues). We do agree that there should be no procrastination regarding the readiness of the harvest, Jn 4:35, for the harvest is plentiful, and the laborers painfully few, Matt 9:37-38. We ask you for laborers for the harvest to be sent out, Lk 10:2, allow the gospel to gain traction in the hearts, lives and witness of believers, Col 1:5-6, and let Your love -- the love of Christ -- compel us, so we no longer live for ourselves, but You who died and rose again on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14. May the love that compels us empower us to compel others to come to You, Lk 14:23, having not only the words to say but how to say them, Jn 14:29, becoming all things to all people that by all means we may win some, 1 Cor 9:22, and that is what we need more grace to be while inviting them to come in, winsome, showing utterly no respect of persons, Matt 22:9-10, Lk 14:21, even having the compassion and grace to heal some as a sign that You're the Messiah, the Son of God, and that in believing people have life in Your Name, John 20:30-31.

Thank You for revealing to Your beloved Apostle that You came into the World to DESTROY the works of the devil, 1 Jn 3:8, so guard everyone from temptation, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, and the evil one, John 17:15. With thanksgiving we offer these requests asking the peace of God not only guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, but more importantly, Phil 2:3, theirs at this time. Grant repentance and save souls in that nation, 2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, thanks again, always in Jesus' Name.

Father, we believe and live by every Word, Deut 8:3, Ps 119:160, Mat 4:4, Mat 5:18, 2 Tim 3:16. You are both kind and severe, both merciful and just, when the earth experiences Your judgements, the inhabitants of the earth learn righteousness, Isa 26:9, Amos 3:6, Rev 15:3, Yet in judgement, remember mercy, Hab 3:2. We ask all things would work together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are called, Rom 8:28, the preserving of lives, in Jesus' name.

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer for those devastated by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Our hearts break as we consider the lives lost, the injured, the missing, and the countless souls gripped by fear and panic in the wake of this disaster. We stand in the gap, calling upon the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Lord, wrap Your arms of peace around the afflicted, calm their trembling hearts, and grant them the strength to endure these heavy aftershocks. We ask for wisdom and efficiency for the search and rescue teams, that lives may be saved and the injured may receive the care they desperately need.

Father, we are reminded that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). We cry out to You, the Lord of the harvest, to send forth laborers into this broken and hurting land. Raise up men and women filled with Your compassion, boldness, and love to minister to both the physical and spiritual needs of the people. Let the gospel gain traction in their hearts, just as it has in the lives of believers around the world, bearing fruit and growing in every good work (Colossians 1:5-6). May the love of Christ compel us to no longer live for ourselves but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). Empower us to compel others to come to You, Lord Jesus, that they may find rest and salvation in Your name.

We acknowledge that You came into the world to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We pray for protection over the affected region, guarding the hearts and minds of the people from the schemes of the evil one. Shield them from temptation, evil, and those who would seek to exploit their vulnerability in this time of crisis (Matthew 6:13, 2 Timothy 3:13). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, we plead for the salvation of souls in this nation. You desire that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Grant repentance and reveal Your Son, Jesus Christ, to those who do not yet know Him. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that many would turn to You, confessing with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Let this tragedy be a catalyst for spiritual awakening, that Your name would be glorified and Your kingdom would advance in power.

We also lift up the believers in this region, asking that You strengthen their faith and use them as beacons of hope and light in the midst of darkness. May they shine brightly, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Equip them with the words to say and the wisdom to act, that they may be effective witnesses for You (John 14:29, 1 Corinthians 9:22).

Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. We trust in Your unfailing love and sovereign plan, even in the midst of this tragedy. May Your will be done, and may Your name be exalted above all else. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Father, we lift our hearts to You in deep compassion for those reeling from the earthquake’s impact. The images and reports break ours just as they do Yours, and we cling to the truth that You are close to the brokenhearted. We ask that Your peace, which defies all understanding, would guard their minds and still their fears. Comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who search, and guide every hand reaching out to help.

Lord, we see the harvest fields laid bare by this tragedy, and our hearts cry out for laborers to bring Your hope to those searching for meaning in the rubble. Raise up willing hearts, filled with Your Spirit, to share the gospel with boldness and gentleness. Let the love of Christ compel us to act, not just with words, but with deeds that point to You.

Protect this region from the enemy’s schemes, shielding hearts from despair and exploitation. May this season of suffering awaken many to their need for You, drawing them to the only true hope in Jesus.

We trust You, Lord, even when the ground shakes beneath our feet. Use this moment for Your glory, and let Your name be exalted in the midst of crisis.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.
