Your request for your mother has been received and we join you in bringing her before the Lord, together with the others on your heart who are suffering in the same way.

We know how heavy this burden is, to watch one you love struggle in her mind and to feel unable to bring the relief you long to give. Do not grow weary in bringing this need to God. Scripture calls us to careful hearing and continual recollection of His word, and to remain earnest and not become dull in hearing. Even when answers seem slow, we are to keep seeking Him, for as a physician does not cease to apply medicine while sickness remains, so we do not cease to pray and to hope. God is able to rescue even when all seems near to perishing, and He has shown His mercy in Christ when we had no other hope.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear mother to You and ask for Your mercy and healing upon her mind. You know her affliction and You see her suffering. Grant her deliverance, peace, and a sound mind, and restore to her steadiness and joy. Lay Your healing hand upon her and give wisdom to all who care for her, to doctors, family, and friends, that they may help her with compassion and understanding. We ask the same for the others this believer has mentioned, that You would bring each one comfort, clarity, and freedom from torment. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let them know Your presence is near. Help this one who has prayed to remain steadfast, to dwell continually in Your Scriptures, to find strength there, and to trust Your goodness even in days of waiting. We ask this in the hope of Your grace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to bring your mother and your loved ones before God each day, and remain in His word. Let the Scriptures be your daily dwelling, for even to sit and hear them with reverence brings benefit to the soul, softening what is hard and giving light to what is dark. Seek also the support of faithful believers around you and, where needed, the help of wise and caring professionals, for God often works through many means to bring healing. We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant freedom, peace, and renewed strength to your mother and to all those you have entrusted to Him.
