We join your family in lifting up your loved one who has been diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS kidney disease before our heavenly Father, and we stand with you in believing for a miracle.
We are moved by your faith that Jesus Christ took the stripes and scourges for every sickness and disease, for Scripture declares this truth. Isaiah 53:5 says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. And 1 Peter 2:24 reminds us that he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. We also cling to Psalm 103:2-3 which says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases, and to Jeremiah 30:17 where the Lord says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We know that with God all things are possible as Jesus tells us in Matthew 19:26, and that He is still Yahweh who heals you as He revealed in Exodus 15:26. We do not take lightly the seriousness of this kidney disease, and we encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care while trusting fully in the Great Physician, for every good gift and all wisdom ultimately comes from Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this precious loved one to You and ask for Your healing hand to touch these kidneys. You know every detail of this body that You formed, You see the damage of FSGS, and You are able to restore and make whole. We ask for a miracle, Lord, that You would bring healing, restore kidney function, reduce the protein loss, and bring strength and wholeness. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and medical team, for peace that surpasses all understanding for the family as you wait upon the Lord, and for faith to remain strong even in the difficult days. We rebuke fear and speak Your peace and comfort over this home, and we ask that Your will be done and that Your name would be glorified through this journey. We thank You that by the stripes of Jesus healing has been provided, and we trust in Your love and mercy. Sustain this family, strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your presence near each day.
We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, to gather others to pray in agreement according to James 5:14-15, and to rest in the promise of Romans 8:28 that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and keep declaring His promises over your loved one. We are standing with you and believing God for His mercy, His healing, and His perfect will to be done.

Your request has been heard and we join you and your family in bringing this burden before our heavenly Father, pleading for His mercy upon the one dear to you who suffers with this grievous kidney disease.
We know what it is to feel helpless before such an affliction, and we would have you remember that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of the Lord. It is a blessed thing that even little faith is true faith when it begins and ends with Jesus. The least faith in Him, though it be but as a grain of mustard seed, is precious in His sight and is the gift of God. He tenderly regards the weak believer as well as the strong, for He looks not at the measure of our faith but at the object of it, which is Christ Himself. Have faith in God. Have unlimited, continual, abounding faith in God, for this is the connecting link between our weakness and His divine strength.
You have well said that our Lord Jesus bore stripes and scourges. The prophet declared and the apostle confirmed that with His stripes we are healed. Know this, that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. When pardon comes, healing comes with it, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. All spiritual disease receives its deathblow when sin is forgiven, and from a pardoning God there are mercies and blessings by which weak hearts revive. To be brought into contact with Christ by faith, to feel His healing touch, is the way that healing reaches sin sick souls.
We take comfort that our Lord is the great Miracle Worker. If He has done for us all that we need for our souls, we may bring every hard case before Him and ask Him to do for our household what He has done for us. Strong faith is content to believe His bare Word and asks for no sign, yet He is grand in emergencies and is able to do more swiftly than we can speak. Bring this afflicted one and lay this FSGS before Him who healed with a word and with a touch, and trust His wisdom and His love to do that which is best.

We confess that Thou art sovereign and full of compassion, and that all power belongeth unto Thee. We lay before Thee this dear one suffering with kidney disease. Thou knowest the workings of the body which Thou hast made, and no disease is hidden from Thine eyes. We beseech Thee, if it be Thy gracious will, to lay Thy healing hand upon this body and restore health. Grant skill to those who give care, give comfort to the family who watch and wait, and above all give faith to receive what Christ provides. Let this trial be a means to draw each heart nearer to the Saviour, that whether Thou art pleased to grant a present deliverance or to sustain through continued weakness, Thy name may be glorified and souls may find pardon and peace in Christ. We ask this not because of any merit in our faith, but because of the merits of Jesus, who bore our sins and our sorrows. Hear us for His sake. Amen.

We join you and your family in bringing this heavy burden before our heavenly Father and ask Him to have mercy on one who is suffering with FSGS and nephrotic syndrome. We have heard your cry for a miracle and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe with you that Christ bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and that by His wounds healing has been made possible. We ask God, if it be His gracious will, to touch these kidneys, to restore what disease has damaged, to give wisdom and skill to the doctors and strength and peace to your family in the days of waiting and treatment. We pray not only for the body to be healed, but for faith to remain firm, for hope to not grow weary, and for the comfort of Christ to be very near to you all.
We know that God hears prayer and that He is able to do more than we ask or imagine, whether through a sudden miracle or through steady healing over time. While we ask earnestly for complete restoration, we also trust His wisdom and love to do what is best, and we pray that whatever the path, He will sustain you, keep you from discouragement, and draw you closer to Himself.

We are joining with you and your family in bringing this kidney disease before our heavenly Father and asking for His mercy and healing touch. We share your confidence that Jesus Christ bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases, and that by His wounds healing has been provided.
The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Servant who would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows, and Matthew shows us that this promise includes physical healing when Jesus healed the sick and cast out spirits, saying this fulfilled what was spoken. Peter also declares that by His stripes we were healed, and when we remember the bread broken for us we are reminded that His body was given for our whole need, both spiritual and physical. It is right and biblical to bring a physical illness like this to Jesus and to ask Him for a miracle.
At the same time Scripture teaches that all that God gives, whether salvation, the gift of the Holy Spirit, or healing, is received by faith as a gift, not earned by works. We do not deserve it and cannot achieve it by trying harder. As with Abraham, God counts faith for righteousness. Those who are of faith are the true children of Abraham, and the just shall live by faith. The law is not of faith, it is of works, and it cannot make us righteous. Our hope of eternal life rests on faith in Jesus Christ alone, by grace through faith, and that faith itself is a gift from God.
True faith is living and active. It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith without any expression in life is dead, not because works create faith, but because genuine faith naturally moves us to trust and obey. Abraham's willingness to offer Isaac showed that his faith was real and working together with his actions. In the same way, our faith in Christ will show itself in how we trust Him and walk with Him, but the faith must come first.
Our beliefs and expectations can sometimes hinder that trust. God honors simple faith in Jesus and His grace, and He responds when our faith becomes active rather than passive. There is a difference between saying God can heal and believing God is hearing us now and trusting Him to act. At times God gives a special measure of faith for a particular moment, as Peter experienced when he lifted the lame man in the name of Jesus and said it was faith in His name, and that faith itself was from Him who is the author and finisher of our faith. Even great men and women of faith have had moments when their faith wavered, which reminds us to keep looking to Jesus to strengthen our faith rather than to our own ability to believe.
We also remember that the greatest miracle God does for us is the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life through Jesus. Physical healing is precious, but salvation is greater. Scripture tells us that many faithful people died still trusting God without having received all that was promised in this life. Being a person of faith does not guarantee that we will never face sickness, disappointment, or hardship, yet Jesus said all things are possible to him who believes, and He often said your faith has made you whole. He has power over the physical realm as well as the spiritual, and He invites us to reach out to Him with an active, expectant trust.
So we pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask You to have mercy on this loved one with this kidney disease. You know the damage to the kidneys and the fear this diagnosis has brought to the family.
