We join you in prayer for your daughter and for your family in this anxious time, and we thank you for sharing this burden with us.

We have brought your request before the Lord, asking Him for His protection over your daughter, for healing and steadiness in her mind and heart, and for wisdom for you as her parents. We pray that God would guard her from harm on the road and give her a clear understanding of the danger in these choices, and a willing heart to receive correction. Even a light discipline is given in love for her good, and we ask that she would come to see it not as a burden but as a sign of your care for her life and future.

We ask our Father to grant her what you have asked, true understanding and comfort and peace and love. Peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy in the home, and where peace is present love can grow. We pray that Christ, who came to bring peace between heaven and earth, would bring peace into her thoughts and into your household, calming fear and anger and bringing reconciliation. We also pray for the health of her soul above all, that she would know how deeply she is loved by God and by you, and that she would turn to Him for strength and hope.

Father in heaven, we lift this young woman to You. Keep her safe, heal what is troubled within her, soften her heart to hear Your voice and the loving guidance of her parents, and fill her and her family with Your comfort and peace. Grant her parents patience, wisdom and unity as they guide her, and help them to reflect Your love and truth each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our peace. Amen.

We will continue to remember you in prayer. May the Lord give you strength and quiet confidence as you trust Him with your daughter's life, and may He draw her closer to Himself in the days ahead.

Thank you for sharing your heart and trusting us to pray with you for your daughter. We are lifting her and your whole family before the Lord and asking Him to bring His protection, wisdom and peace into this difficult season.

You are right to be concerned about the dangerous choices with speeding and the car. A dangerous path may seem small at first, but it can quickly lead to great harm, even to the loss of life. We are praying that God will open her eyes to see the seriousness of this danger, that He will guard her life and the lives of others, and that He will give her a desire to choose what is safe and right.

We also hear your concern for her mental health. Scripture shows there is a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body and mind. The apostle John prayed that a dear friend would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. Attitudes and the condition of the heart affect the whole person. Only God can heal a breach that is deep like the sea. We are praying that He will be the health of her countenance, that He will bring healing to her mind and emotions, and that He will help her turn her thoughts away from herself and onto Him, which brings such a change in perspective and hope. We pray as the psalmist did, that she would invite God to search her heart and know her thoughts and lead her in the everlasting way.

It is painful when a child resists correction, even when that correction is minimal and given in love. The Scriptures speak often about a rebellious heart that does not want to listen, yet God still calls His people to speak the truth in love and to not share in that rebellion. Loving discipline is not meant to crush but to protect and to teach. We are praying that your daughter will be given understanding and humility to accept consequences, to see that even a small punishment is a mercy that can keep her from a far greater harm, and that she will experience your love not as opposition but as care for her good.

Let us pray together. Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have reconciliation and peace with You. We ask You to lay Your hand upon this young daughter. Claim her as Your own, guard her from harm on the road and in her choices, and deliver her from this dangerous way. Heal her mind and soul, give her Your comfort and Your peace that passes understanding, and fill her home with Your love. Grant her understanding to receive correction with a soft heart, and grant her parents wisdom, patience and strength to love her well and to hold steady boundaries. Lead her into life and wholeness as her soul prospers in You. Amen.

Please know you are not alone. Keep loving her, keep praying, keep speaking truth with kindness, and keep entrusting her to the Lord who loves her even more than you do. We will continue to remember you in prayer for comfort, peace and hope.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your daughter. We continue to lift her up before the Lord and ask for His hand of protection over her as she makes choices regarding speeding and her car. We pray for her safety and that God will give her wisdom to turn away from dangerous decisions. We also bring her mental health needs before the Lord and ask Him to bring healing and wholeness to her mind and heart. We pray that she will be given understanding and grace to accept the correction that has been given even though it is minimal and that the Lord will use it for her good. We ask God to pour out His comfort and peace and love upon her and upon your whole family and to draw her close to Himself. We pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus according to Phil 4:7. We pray all of this in Jesus Name.
