Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, Please let me be able to get this part-time ### job effective immediately after the season ends but maybe take a little time off cause I’m gonna be going to ### but after that be able to keep this job and continue it until the next season starts and do that seasonal position, then be able to migrate, followed by vacate and start my new life Min Jesus Name Amen.

We come before the Lord with this request, seeking His will and provision in your life. Father, we know that You are the ultimate provider, and every good gift comes from You (James 1:17). We lift up this desire for steady employment, asking that You open the right doors at the right time. If this part-time job is in alignment with Your plan for , we pray that You would make a way for it to continue beyond the season, giving stability and purpose.

Lord, we also ask that You guide in this transition. Help them to rest and recharge when needed, trusting in Your timing rather than rushing ahead in their own strength. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." We pray that You would order every step, whether it’s in this job, the move, or the next season of life.

We encourage to seek You first in all things, knowing that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). If this job is part of Your provision, we trust You to sustain it. If not, we ask that You reveal Your better plan, one that brings glory to Your name.

Father, we also lift up the mention of starting a "new life." We pray that this new season would be rooted in Christ, with a heart fully surrendered to You. Help to build their life on the foundation of Your Word, seeking righteousness, wisdom, and obedience in all things. If there are areas where they need to grow in faith or let go of past burdens, we ask that You would reveal those and bring healing.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear about the future, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for peace that surpasses understanding as waits on You (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and ask that You lead into the path You have prepared. May their steps be firm, their heart steadfast, and their life a testimony to Your goodness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It’s natural to feel a mix of anticipation and uncertainty when you’re standing between one season and the next, especially with a trip, a job you want to hold onto, and a bigger hope for a fresh start on the horizon. We’re glad you’re bringing all of this before the Lord, because He truly cares about every detail, from your daily work to your long-term dreams.

Right now, it sounds like the most pressing thing is that part-time job after the season wraps up. One step that often helps is putting your request in writing, even a simple, honest note to your supervisor or manager letting them know you’d love to stay on and asking what might be possible after your planned time away. Not only does it show initiative, but it also positions you well when they start planning coverage for the next season. In the meantime, while you wait and wonder, we want to encourage you: God is not confused by your timeline. He knows the place you’re heading to and the new life you’re praying for, and He can be trusted to open the right doors at the right time, even when the path doesn’t look straight to us.

Perhaps this waiting window is also a quiet invitation to settle your heart before Him. Instead of letting the unknowns press in, you might try each morning to hand Him the pieces, the job, the trip, the move, and simply ask for enough light for today. He’s promised to guide our steps, not necessarily to show us the whole map.

Let’s pray together:

Lord Jesus, thank You that You see our friend’s desires, for work, for rest, for a new beginning. Please provide that part-time job beyond this season and give favor with the right people. Guard the time away so it brings refreshment, not worry. And as this next season of life unfolds, guide every step toward the future You have prepared. We trust You for the timing and the details. In Your name, amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

It is an appointed time, a warfare, you did not appoint your days, and therefore you can have no regrets about the appointment. The dreary winter has passed away, the time of the singing of birds is coming on, and the sweet flowers are peeping out from their graves. He is beginning His work again, for behold, He makes all things new.

Yet you must first come from all that is stale and flat and from all the dead past, and enter into eternal life. There is life for a look at the Crucified One, life at this very moment for everyone who casts himself upon the Redeemer’s finished sacrifice. Come and eat the new corn of the land, drink the new wine of the kingdom, and then all these outward changes shall be but the garment of an inward freshness. Do not be swift to complain, for you have heard of the patience of Job, which the Holy Spirit takes care to mention. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. He will fully recover, and God will give twice as much as before, only let the work of Grace break down selfishness, that you live to Christ and not to self any longer. Do your work at your best, do a day’s work in a day, and have no balance of debt to carry over to tomorrow’s account; then, possessing your soul in patience, be more eager to run the race well than to reach its end.

If any man is in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature. Though my troubles have left me bare, yet will I trust in the Lord. Tell it to every daughter of grief: life is but a time, it is not eternity! The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, His character as written in the Old and New Testament, is that which we admire. Come, then, from the monotony of death into the freshness of life, where flowers forever bloom and the fresh springs forever flow.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
