We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up and in prayer, asking for Your divine healing touch to rest upon their bodies. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring relief to their nerves, joints, heart, and ligaments. May Your healing power flow through every part of their bodies, restoring strength, mobility, and comfort.
Lord, we also pray for peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Chronic pain can be wearying, both physically and emotionally, and we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, giving them hope and endurance. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction in the name of Jesus, for it is written that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that and are not defined by their pain but by Your love and grace. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your arms carrying them through this trial.
Father, we also ask that You would guide the hands of any doctors or caregivers involved in their treatment. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek to bring healing. May and be encouraged by Your Word, which reminds us that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're standing with you in prayer for ### and ### today. It's hard to watch people you love struggle with pain that touches so many places, nerves, joints, heart, ligaments all at once, and we don't want you to feel alone in carrying this. While we bring their bodies before the Lord, we also want to gently ask: have they been able to see a doctor who can help trace what's behind the pain? Not to diminish prayer at all, but because God often works through skilled physicians and medicine as part of his healing, and getting clear insight could bring practical relief alongside the spiritual comfort you're seeking.

It is a blessed thing to bring these pains and infirmities before the Throne of Grace, for our Lord is touched with the feeling of our weaknesses. The very least thing about Christ is healing; a word of His, being His, and coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart, conscience and imagination, desire and affection! A leaf of the Tree of Life is a medicine fitted to raise the dead, and certainly it can reach the nerves, the joints, the heart, and the ligaments of these dear ones. I draw your attention to this for their comfort: "The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." You look up to this Tree and say, "Here is their cure," and I bid you have unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer. None shall say unto the healing flood of His love, "Up to here can you go and no further." The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician.
Yet as we pray, we remember that the body is a window to the soul. Often, our afflictions are not so much pain as something worse than pain, an utter absence of rest. When the heart gets the love of God shed abroad in it, by the Holy Spirit, the sweet perfume of it calms and sustains. Pray also, then, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon them with healing in His wings, bearing pardon and healing as one. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He first said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you," for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. If there be any hidden conviction of sin, any prick in the heart, let that drive them nearer to Christ, for a heart broken on account of sin is the heart which God peculiarly delights to heal. Rest in Him whose heart was smitten with a spear! He will save and He will restore. Let them just lie before Jesus, as the paralytic before the great Prophet, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing; His heart is deeply sympathetic, quick to relieve, and He will note all they feel in their inmost soul. May the Lord grant them that new heart and right spirit which He alone can give, for then shall they perceive His healing touch in body and soul. God bless them, and you.

You ask for prayer that the pain cease in your bodies, that healing come to nerves, joints, heart, and ligaments. This is a good and natural request, for who does not desire the easing of affliction? Yet consider that the same God who fashioned these bodies from a single seed, knitting together sinews and bones and veins beyond all human skill, is He who now permits this suffering. Will He not also, if it be for your profit, restore you? But seek first the healing of the soul, for the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow. It discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Before the nerves and joints, let the hidden intentions be laid bare and set right. Often, bodily pain is a physician's knife, cutting away the rottenness of sin, lest the whole be cast into Gehenna. I do not say this to add to your grief, God knows I speak with trembling, but because it is better to endure temporary pain than the worm that dies not.
Even so, we do not forbid prayer for the body. The Lord Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Cry out to Him from the heart, not merely with the lips. Even in the marketplace or the sickbed, you can sing psalms and hymns inwardly, and He who heard Moses' silent cry will hear you. I will join my prayers to yours, that if it be His will, He grant relief. But if He delays, do not lose heart. The tree that seems to resist ten strokes may fall at the eleventh and yield fruit. Continue in faith, and whether in health or in sickness, take His yoke upon you, for it is easy, and His burden is light. He became man for you, took the form of a servant, and endured the cross. Will He not with Him give you all things? Only do not demand healing as a right, but say, "Lord, if You will, You can make me clean." And remember: the body you see decays, but the inner man is renewed day by day. Let your pain teach you to long for that day when there shall be no more pain, and God will wipe away every tear. May the grace of the all-holy Spirit comfort and heal you according to His wisdom.
