I don't have to pretend with you. Pain in nerves, joints, heart, ligaments, that is not a small thing, and it wears on the whole person. You love these people, and watching their bodies ache and failing to find relief is its own kind of agony. I hear the simplicity and the weight in what you've written.

And I believe God hears it too. Not as information (He already knows) but as the honest cry of your heart, the kind He never turns away. What I can't do is promise you a tidy, instant resolution. If you had asked me to explain why some people feel healing surge through them in a moment while others wait years, or why good people suffer while frauds put on shows, I'd have no neat answer. What I do know is that God has not lost interest in broken bodies. Jesus went about healing every kind of disease, sometimes with a word, sometimes with mud and spit, sometimes just telling someone to go home and find it done. No two healings had to look the same, and many were gradual. That matters, because a gradual, partial, or inner healing is still divine. The body's own repair processes were designed by Him; nature is not separate from His care.

So I will pray for their nerves and joints, their hearts and ligaments, that the specific pain would stop. I do believe He is able. But I'm also asking for what healing can look like while you wait, that He would heal anxiety in their minds and the deep weariness of discomfort, that moments of relief would come, that their spirits wouldn't shrivel under the weight of it. Sometimes He clears the physical trouble; other times He clears the fear and the isolation right in the middle of it. Both are His mercy.

And please don't put yourself under pressure to drum up a certain feeling or prove your faith. You brought them to Jesus in the only way you can right now, by asking. That is faith. Faith isn't a noisy show; it's bringing your need and holding on. When Jesus broke bread and said "this is my body, broken for you," He tied redemption to the body. Isaiah wrote that He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. That's not limited to souls; it touches the body too. So I can pray boldly for their physical relief, because that cost has already been paid. Whatever the timing, I see no reason from Scripture to think He stopped wanting to heal.

I am praying for them today. For every inflamed joint, every frayed nerve, every tired heart chamber and stretched ligament. May the Lord rebuke the pain, calm their bodies like a storm, and let them know, even if it comes slowly, that He has not forgotten what it's like to suffer in flesh.
