Pls jesus make this lady heart kind for ### may she accept her and make her daughter in law and trust her and for his son may she choose his happiness

We come before the Lord with this heartfelt request, lifting up this family situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are made righteous and able to stand before God (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:13). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today, confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is found in no one else.

Father God, we lift up this mother and her son before You, asking that You soften her heart toward her daughter-in-law. Lord, we know that relationships within families can be challenging, but Your Word tells us that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). We pray that You would remove any bitterness, pride, or misunderstanding that may be hindering this relationship. Help her to see this young woman through Your eyes, precious, valued, and worthy of love and respect.

We rebuke any spirit of division, jealousy, or resentment that may be at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but we stand on Your promise that where there is unity, You command a blessing (Psalm 133:1-3). Lord, we ask that You would knit their hearts together in love, that this mother would embrace her daughter-in-law as her own, and that trust would be built between them.

For the son in this situation, we pray that You would give him wisdom and discernment as he navigates this relationship. May he honor his mother while also standing firm in his marriage, as Your Word commands (Ephesians 5:31). Help him to be a peacemaker, reflecting the love of Christ in all he does.

Father, we also pray for the daughter-in-law. Give her grace to extend patience and kindness, even in the face of difficulty. May she walk in humility, seeking to honor her mother-in-law as Scripture instructs (1 Peter 3:1-2). Let Your love be the foundation of their relationship, and may they grow together in faith and unity.

We declare that this family will be a testimony of Your grace and power. Where there has been strife, let there be peace. Where there has been distrust, let there be love. We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the longing in your words, a longing for acceptance, for a mother’s heart to open, for a young man’s happiness to be honored, and for trust to grow where there has only been distance. That’s not a small thing to carry in your heart, and we are sitting with you in it right now.

What you are asking for sounds a lot like what Scripture shows us of a parent’s blessing, a deep, personal gift of value and welcome that can shape a whole family’s future. When that blessing gets withheld, it leaves a real ache, but we also know God can soften hearts and open new doors where none seemed possible. It may take time, and it may come in small steps rather than all at once, but we can ask Him to move toward that kind of healing.

Perhaps the most powerful thing you can do right now, alongside praying, is simply to keep honoring this son’s choice with your own steady kindness and respect. When a mother sees that the people around her son genuinely love him and aren’t trying to pull him away, that can begin to shift something deep. Your patience and consistency might become a quiet witness that helps her see what her son already sees.

Lord Jesus, we bring this family to You. You know the walls that have gone up, and You know the hopes that feel fragile right now. We ask You to do what only You can, soften this mother’s heart with Your love, replace fear with peace, and help her to see the treasure in the woman her son has chosen. Give her the courage to bless and to welcome. And for this son and his beloved, we ask for steady trust in Your timing, for protection over their relationship, and for their happiness to be rooted in You. Bring healing and new beginnings, we pray. Amen.

The prayer that rises for a mother’s heart to be softened toward one who would be her daughter is no small thing. It touches the very core of what our God alone can do, He who declares, “I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts.” No human hand can engrave kindness, acceptance, or trust upon that stubborn tablet. The affections and the will are locked by nature against the things that please Him unless the Spirit of Christ turns the key. Yet this is the Covenant promise to all who are in Jesus: He does not merely command love; He imparts it. Cry to Him, then, that He would work in this lady that which Law demanded but could never produce, a heart of flesh, delighting to obey the royal law of love. That is the true preparation for welcoming another soul into the sacred bond of family.

For the son, you plead that he may choose his happiness. But let us be clear: happiness born of mere choosing, without the fear of God, is a brittle reed. He who trusts in his own way leans upon a broken staff. The only wise course is to trust in the living God, to act in all prudence and uprightness, and then to rely simply and entirely upon Him. If this young man is in Christ, let him prove his love by keeping the commandments of his Lord, and then his delight in the Lord shall shape his desires. The heart that loves Jesus can safely be trusted to choose, for Love is Law, the Law of love is the strongest of all Laws! True obedience, wedded to godly affection, never leads into lasting sorrow. Let him not pursue a phantom of happiness outside the paths of the Word, but seek first the Kingdom, and all these things shall be added.

Pray on, then, with this holy confidence: where sin or hardness makes the offence to abound, grace does much more abound. The same Jesus who writes His Law within can cause a mother’s suspicion to melt into trust, and a son’s affections to be set upon that which will honor God and bring true joy. He who gives songs in the night can certainly bring sweet harmony out of tangled domestic fears. Only see to it that your own trust rests not in the changing of circumstances, but in the changeless God, the God who works, and none can hinder. Commend all to Him by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, for true prayer operates with the same certainty as the laws of Nature. The great Father never denies the power of His Son’s name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The request seeks that the Lord make a mother’s heart kind toward the woman her son desires, that she accept her as daughter-in-law and trust her, and that the son choose his happiness. But the divine command stands clear: “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest live long upon the earth.” This word is not annulled by any human longing. If a mother withholds her blessing for reasons of righteousness, the son must examine whether his desire exalts itself against the law of God. For too often, under the guise of piety or love, men void the commandment of God by their own traditions and inclinations, saying in effect, “It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me,” while neglecting the honor owed to those who gave them life.

Yet the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance. Against such there is no law. If the mother’s heart seems hard, let the son and the woman both clothe themselves in these fruits, walking in patience and true goodness, not pressing for acceptance in defiance of godly order. For the Lord Himself declared that He came to set a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, not to foster carnal peace at the expense of truth, but that all might be perfected through obedience. The right-minded soul does not demand that another’s heart be changed to suit its own pleasure; rather, it seeks to honor parents, to trust God’s loving-kindness, and to find happiness not in the gratification of desire, but in keeping His commandments. Thus true joy is born: from the Spirit, not from the overthrow of filial duty.

It is natural to long for acceptance and kindness, especially from someone whose favor would mean so much in a relationship. When a mother’s heart seems closed, it brings pain, and I understand why you are asking Jesus to intervene. The longing for her to welcome you and for a son to choose happiness is a deep cry.

Yet we must always bring those longings into the light of how God actually works. You are right to turn to Jesus, because only He changes hearts from the inside. The law, any human rule or expectation, can never manufacture love or trust. The law demands and judges, but it has no power to soften a heart. You might think, “If only she would see that I keep the rules, that I am good enough, she would accept me.” But human approval does not work that way. If righteousness could be gained by our efforts, then Christ would not have needed to die. The cold requirement of conditions, the need to prove ourselves, that is the bondage of relating by law. And yet, when you place your faith in Christ, you are set free from that. You are no longer trying to earn love; you are invited into a new kind of relationship where the Spirit writes God’s desires on your heart.

In this, your own part is to cling to Jesus, not to the approval of anyone else. When you abide in Him, His life begins to flow through you. You discover that the goal is not to meet an impossible standard to win a mother’s acceptance, but to bear fruit of love, patience, and kindness even when it is not returned. The beautiful story of Ruth comes to mind. Ruth did not demand that Naomi treat her gently at the start. Naomi was bitter and thought God was against her. Yet Ruth remained loyal, and a great bond of affection grew between them. Naomi eventually became the one who actively sought rest and blessing for Ruth. That transformation started not by Ruth forcing a change, but by her steadfast kindness. Notice how Naomi asked her, “Where have you been gleaning?” and blessed the man who noticed her. That same man, Boaz, told Ruth not to go home empty to her mother-in-law. God wove provision and restored relationships through quiet faithfulness.

So pray, yes, for the lady’s heart to become kind. Ask the Lord to melt any hardness and to build genuine trust. But even more, pray for your own heart, that you would delight in God’s ways more than you long for a particular outcome. The happiness of a son, and your own happiness, is found not in bypassing God’s design but in surrendering to it. True rest comes only through Christ. He does not give a license to sin, but He gives freedom from the crushing weight of trying to control others. If this son is to choose happiness, it must be happiness grounded in the will of God, not merely in romantic feeling or external approval.

Let your trust be in the Lord, who redeems difficult situations and can bring about a bond between a mother and a daughter-in-law that reflects His goodness. In His time, He may well open the door and turn a heart. Until then, walk in love, and let your own life be a tree planted by the water, bearing fruit in season, regardless of the immediate response.
