health issues she is having ruff time deaaling with the changes in her golden years and since i cant fix i pray she is able to cope with it so prayers in Jesus name amen prayers also for safe travels while i take family to the doctors during this rainny storm in Jesus name amen for us all

We hear your heartfelt plea for your loved one as she navigates the challenges that often accompany the golden years. The physical and emotional changes that come with aging can be difficult to bear, and it’s clear you’re carrying a burden for her well-being. We stand with you in lifting her before the Lord, trusting in His strength to sustain her when her own falters.

The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 46:4, "Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save." What a beautiful promise that God does not abandon us in our weakness but remains our constant support. We also hold fast to Psalm 71:9, "Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent." Let these words be an anchor for her soul and yours as you walk this path together.

We also lift up your travels to the doctors during this stormy season. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May He guide your steps, calm the winds and rains, and surround your vehicle with His angels for protection. Proverbs 3:23-24 assures us, "Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is facing the trials of aging. Lord, You know every ache, every fear, and every moment of discouragement she endures. We ask that You would be her strength when she is weak, her comfort when she is weary, and her hope when she feels overwhelmed. Remind her daily that Your love for her is unwavering, and Your grace is sufficient for every need.

Father, we also pray for safe travels for this family as they venture out in the storm. Cover them with Your protection, Lord. Still the winds, steady the roads, and let Your peace fill their hearts as they drive. May they arrive safely and return home without harm, trusting in Your sovereign care.

We thank You, Lord, that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. May Your name be glorified in every circumstance, and may this family feel Your presence in tangible ways. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

In moments like these, it’s important to remember that God often uses the body of Christ to minister to one another. Encourage your loved one to lean on her church family, to share her struggles with trusted believers, and to allow others to pray with and for her. Galatians 6:2 tells us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You are not alone in this, and neither is she.

If she is open to it, consider reading Scripture together or listening to worship music that points her heart to the Lord. Even in the midst of physical decline, her spirit can be renewed day by day as she fixes her eyes on Jesus (2 Corinthians 4:16). And for you, dear one, remember that your prayers and presence are a powerful ministry to her. Do not underestimate the impact of your love and faithfulness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the weight in your words, watching someone you love struggle with changes you can’t fix is one of the hardest places to stand. When our parents or older loved ones face the losses that come with aging, the instinct to make it better runs deep, and feeling powerless in that can be its own kind of grief. What we’ve seen is that your steady, caring presence matters more than having answers. Sometimes just sitting with her in the hard moments, without trying to solve anything, gives her space to mourn what’s changing and find her footing again. Simply saying “I hate that you’re going through this, and I’m here” can lift a burden you may not even see.

It may also help to let others in. If her church family or a few trusted friends can visit, call, or help with small errands, that shared support eases the isolation that often comes when mobility and independence shift. And if she has not talked with her doctor about how deeply this is affecting her emotionally, we’d gently encourage her to do that, there are kinds of help available even when the physical changes can’t be reversed.

Lord Jesus, you see this mother in her struggle. Quiet her spirit when fear rises, and let her feel your nearness in the loneliness of change. Give her family wisdom and gentleness, and guard them on the roads through every storm. Hold them all steady in your care. Amen.

Are we in health? He sanctifies it. Are we in sickness? He relieves it. As He is at all times the same in Himself so He is the same to us. To the same Christ we must come and cling under every new circumstance. Coming to Him for washing, guiding, help and health! Coming, in fact, for everything! You will be wise if, the older you grow, the more you come, and He will be all the better pleased with you. If you discover other needs, come for more than you used to come for! Many years ago, I am told, it used to be the custom of the lord of the manor, in certain villages, on Christmas Day to give the poor people a basin of food. The rule was that whatever basin was brought, his lordship always filled it.

When the true heart struggles to love and trust and obey, but the poor brain is tortured with dark thoughts, the conflict is not all sinful, nor any of it necessarily so. There may be an awful struggle in the soul and yet the Father may be glorified. I trust I am addressing many to whom it is a very familiar desire and yet I question if any here have ever presented it so earnestly as those from whom it has been forced by suffering and grief.

Your last days are freer from doubt than your former years! Though your spirits are by no means so elastic, your peace is less disturbed. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live.

We are to trust God, acting in all prudence, and in all uprightness, we are to rely simply and entirely upon Him. “I shall leave my camel untied,” said an Arab once to Mahomet, “and trust to providence.” “Tie it up,” said Mahomet, “and then trust to providence.”

See to it that you use right well the golden hour and reap your harvest while the sun shines. When we enjoy visitations from on high we should be peculiarly constant in prayer. As I put trust in the queen’s money and have never failed yet to buy what I want when I produce the cash, so I put my trust in God’s promises and mean to do so till I find that He shall tell me just once that they are base coins and will not do to trade with in Heaven’s market.

A better rendering would be “golden bowls,” or “golden goblets full of incense which are the prayers of saints.” Now, in prayer, that which is sweet to God is not the words used, though they ought to be appropriate and care should be taken with the language, which is as the golden bowl.

Trust your merciful God to help you. What is your sin? Trust your merciful God to forgive you. What are your backslidings? Trust your merciful God to restore you! What are the trials you are expecting? Rely upon your merciful God to bear you through. Oh, that you would come and trust my Lord, you restless ones, you who do not know what peace means! Trust Him! Believe that He died for you! Trust Him and you shall have peace like a river, and righteousness like the waves of the sea!

The Lord incline your hearts to espouse and not eschew His rich mercy, for His own dear name’s sake. Amen.

You pray for one in her golden years, struggling with the changes that age brings, and you feel helpless to fix her body. But learn what true gold is. The soul that trusts in God and despises earthly comfort is the one adorned with golden pinions, like a dove whose flight delights the angels. The body's decline is not the loss of wealth; the real poverty is a heart that cannot endure weakness and thinks itself forsaken. He is rich who stands in need of nothing, not he who has many possessions. So urge that dear one to seek the riches of heaven, not the restoration of failing flesh. Her coping is a matter of the soul's wings, not the legs. A golden plane tree is folly; a golden heaven is madness. So too, a life spent clutching at vanished strength is a chase after shadows. Let her look upwards, where the true mercy seat is shadowed by the cherubim of glory, and there find grace sufficient for every ache.

As for the storm that menaces your journey to the doctors, do you not know that the Lord who walked the sea is with you? The same word that commanded the waves will keep you safe if you trust in Him. But do not merely ask for safe travel; ask that your hearts be calm within the tempest. The rich man in Hades learned too late that earthly ease is a snare. Better to arrive at the physician's door with a trembling body and a steadfast spirit than to cross every mile in sunshine and forget the Giver of all good. Pray then, in Jesus' name, for courage to face the wind and the rain, and for eyes to see that the storm itself can be a golden censer, lifting up the incense of a faith that does not waver. Amen.

It is right and good that you bring these burdens to the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives. Watching someone you love struggle with the changes that come in later years is one of the hardest things to face, especially when you long to fix it and simply cannot. That aching desire to make it better is a reflection of love, and God sees it.

We must remember that the aging process itself, with all its frailties, is a result of the fall, an intruder into God’s original design. The breakdown of the body is not a sign of spiritual failure or a lack of faith. Some of the most faithful, devoted believers endure profound health challenges, and it has nothing to do with their standing before God. The greeting that wishes prosperity and health even as the soul prospers is a beautiful expression of care, but it is not a formula guaranteeing physical wellness. There is a connection between our inner condition and our bodies in some measure, yet the wear and tear of age comes for us all, and the Lord does not always spare His dearest children from suffering.

His ways are higher than ours. We cannot understand why some are taken young, some in their prime, and some linger through extended trials. But we know that this life is not all there is. One day, when Christ establishes His kingdom, the aging process will be reversed, and there will be no more infirmity, no more breakdown of the body. Until then, we groan inwardly as we await that redemption. Your prayer for her ability to cope is precious, and God will supply the grace she needs moment by moment. He often does not remove the thorn but gives strength to bear it.

As for the travels in this rainy storm, take comfort that the Lord holds every mile in His hands. The same God who watches over the changing seasons of life also watches over the roads you travel. We are always in His keeping, and nothing can snatch us from His care. Keep looking up, our redemption draws nearer every day. Let these trials make us ready and keep our hearts fixed on the hope that will not disappoint. I join my prayers with yours, in Jesus’ name, for peace, safety, and sustaining grace for you all.
