We lift up ’s health before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician who hears the cries of His children. The Word reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God’s healing power is real and active, whether it comes through miraculous intervention, medical treatment, or the strength to endure with faith.
Father, we ask You to touch with Your healing hand. If there is sickness, pain, or weakness in their body, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that truth over ’s life. Give them the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You, and fill them with hope even in the midst of uncertainty. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also recognize that physical health is deeply connected to spiritual and emotional well-being. If there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in ’s heart, we pray that You would reveal it to them so they may repent and receive Your cleansing (1 John 1:9). Healing is not just for the body but for the soul, and we ask that You restore completely, body, mind, and spirit.
If has not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that this time of struggle would draw them to the foot of the cross. There is no healing, eternal or temporal, that does not come through the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We plead the blood of Jesus over ’s life and ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way.
We also encourage to seek godly counsel, whether through prayer, Scripture, or wise believers who can offer support. James 5:14-15 instructs, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." If has not done so already, we urge them to reach out to their church community for prayer and anointing.
Lord, we trust You with ’s health. Whether You choose to heal instantly, gradually, or in eternity, we know that Your will is perfect. Give the grace to say, like Job, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him" (Job 13:15). May their testimony bring glory to Your name, and may others see Your faithfulness through their journey.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
