If you forgive a money debt you have not yet imitated God, but when you forgive a trespass you are made like unto Him. So consider any bitter root in your family, and root it out. For it is sufficient only to will forgiveness, and the work is accomplished; it requires no wealth, no bodily might, only a willing heart. Then, standing clean before the Lord, ask boldly: Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

You desire prosperity and employment. Yet reflect on the vanity of wealth. It cannot depart with you when you die, and often it forsakes you even here.
